If anybody has any questions let me know

We're here waiting for an answer from the consulate...

Right now there is one flight company operating flights from my country (Brazil) to Canada, with connections in the USA. My COPR would expire on April 21 and I was supposed to flight next Tuesday. However, right now I don't want to expose my family and me to the risk of infection...
I know many of you are in the same situation - allowed to enter, with no travel ban, but still afraid of moving immediately, so as soon as they reply to my webform, I will share it here.

Stay safe you all.
The Consulate of Canada in Brazil has just replied to my webform...However, it was a totally generic response, and actually didn't explain anything about the possibility of extension of our COPR. They only sent the link of the website where they say that now exemptions are valid...

So, if anyone receives a more detailed response from the immigration, please share it here.

Guys, all international travel except cargo has been banned in India till April 14. I am sure there are many other countries where similar bans have happened. What about CoPR holders who can't fly because of such regulations? I am from India. My CoPR expires on April 14. I have filled the webform. What else can I do from my side?

Congrats buddy! Do they take you somewhere for self-isolation? Or is it upto you to figure out a place?

They do not check your health other than at the electronic terminals ask if you have symptoms. There are several agents who stop all passengers to remind them of the isolation procedures you are required to follow by law.

I fortunately had family to take me to the house where I am isolating and they are now too. I believe the health organisations will take you to your final destination now should you request it however where that is specifically is up to you.

Now that's an important detail, I was wondering how we were supposed to reach the final destination after leaving the airport terminal.

Congrats!!! I have a question did they ask for PR card or they simply allowed you to enter with CoPR, from your experience allowing with CoPR depends on Airline or on CBSA.

Scot, did they ask you anything about proof of funds?

Can you briefly tell what did they ask you esp documents? Just outline them please.

And that's what some people here are asking, or rather hoping, for them to reconsider. This is not a circumstance that anyone predicted when they pointed out that the visa can not be extended. Those whose visa is about to expire or expired already were ready to travel. The current suggested process could take months more to re-evaluate the applications.

That's why the request for reconsideration so that there can be alternative solutions which could help make the process faster, if possible. Of course, these are just discussions based around wishful thinking. We don't have much of a say in this and by the looks of it, unfortunately, we might have to wait for months to be able to move to Canada. Assuming that they do re-evaluate all the applications and re-grant the COPR and PRV to everyone who was affected by it.
Why would they increase their work multifolds when we have valid reason for not being able to land.CAN THERE BE A MORE VALID AND STRONGER REASON FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO LAND....
They have themselves never experienced such an happening in their life time.Did they say no to anyone with this reason for extension yet.We all have to be positive. Can we tweet an request for a faster decision.Any one on twitter??
