My visa and copr have stamping and issue date 14th march 2020, my online application saying approved on 16th march 2020, am I exempt from travel restrictions, confused?

Thanks!
Do you guys know if non-essential travel restrictions apply to air travel from the US as well?
Don't know that part. I am giving information with best of my knowledge. Just avoid any confusion and look for announcements made by IRCC. Check their twitter/facebook handles and cic website.

Other thing is that just wait for April to get things calm down a bit. We all are required to stop the spread of COVID19 by taking precautions of not travelling much and staying low key.

I think we should be good as well. my understanding is that it date of COPR should be on or before March 16th

So why you are worrying of it now? You have plenty of time to travel. Wait for things to go normal. Book a flight after 30 Jun 2020 if you want. Your decision. Stay indoors and stay safe.
Thanks, i just want to know that do i fall in the exampt category

Even if you would fall under exemption category you still have plenty of time. For those with CoPR expiring soon or maybe before 30 Jun might need to plan for travel or CoPR extension based on current lockdowns and travel restrictions imposed all over the world.

So is travel restricted till June 30? Is that official

With all the travel restrictions being put in place by transit countries like UAE, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, I will only be left with an option of flying through New York which requires obtaining a visa. With my COPR expiring on the 21st of April and travel ban lifted on the 15th of April in may country, there is no way for me to get that visa, as it takes at least 10 days to issue that. Do you think that could be a reson to reject extension of my COPR. Shall I buy the tickets and apply for visa to show my intentions? In this case I will loose 160USD for visa and 2000USD for tickets.

I think you are okay to go as the van is in place from 18th March 2020. No mater when it was declared.
