Hi @cansha,

I called CIC on 7th and was informed that my eligibility is passed, criminality has passed and security is in progress. What does this entail? I had received a ghost update a day before my call to CIC and now the status has changed back to submitted from updated. When can expect PPR from you experience ?
whats your AOR?

All good signs. In the past a ghost update like that was followed by PPR in the account within few hours to 2 days but in recent times some people get it late (1-2 weeks). Also, it depends on whether you are an inland or outland candidate. Inland candidates get landing interview which could come after a few weeks depending on their capacity but for an outland candidate hopefully you should see PPR within 2 weeks or if you are lucky within few days.

Hope for the best.

Then it's quite strange. May be order a fresh set of GCMS notes if previous are a few months old. Sometimes if the file is transferred late to Montreal it could be processed with later AORs. For example if someone had Aug 2019 AOR but file moved to Montreal in Feb 2020, chances are they will pick the file with other Feb 2020 files.

Montreal is slow but in the past we have observed it is relatively more sequential in processing applications compared to other VOs. I have not tracked PPR by AOR date for a long time but this is based on experience of past and may have changed now.
I got the latest GCMS notes on March 5 which I ordered in early Feb. Exactly the same as the previous one.

Hello All,

I just found out today that the Eligibility status for my application is Review Required. Per my GCMS notes, this is because I answered yes to statutory questions about past visa denials(have a past US visa denial). I am curious if I can provide any information from my end to help with the processing of my application. I am an FSW-O applicant, applying from the US, AOR is Oct 8th.

I'm in a very similar situation and from what I searched there's not much we can do but wait for them to get to our profile. It's very unlikely that they will deny our application due to that, it's just a matter of taking a closer look at it.

I had review required due to statutory question and I got my PR. Don't worry about that.

If you're inland, I would go to a consultant with the GCMS notes and your paperwork. They would not charge usually for just an opinion but you would have to write your LOE yourself.

Yeah that's pretty much what I gathered from online searches. Hopefully they don't take too long.
