- Employment History: I inserted 18 months previous work experience but forgot to attach 'Experience Letter' as supporting docs, would it effect the VO decision, although, so far I haven't being asked to provide any additional docs (Current status: The additional docs you provided are being reviewed). - No need to worry about it, when they will call for the interview, they will share the list of documents they would need. My advice is to get your spouse's JOB REFERENCE LETTER. They will ask for it if you are showing experience. And most of the companies take a bit of time to give that.
Supporting Docs: Purpose of Travel - Others: I have provided a short LoE by stating the motivation of dependent accompanying spouse who applied for close-WP, also attached WES Report, that we obtained previously. Sufficient enough?

- Here is the catch, there are a lot of documents they can ask for in this section.
1. Marriage certificate.
2. Call records. Whatsapp, carrier, any call records that you can get for as long as possible.
3. Chat records/text messages. (whatsapp, facebook. hike all are acknowledge.)
4. Email conversations.
5. Marriage photographs- my suggestion minimum of 40, include after marriage pics too.
6. They might ask a number of questions from your spouse during interview about your whereabouts. when you went out of canada last time. where you study/studied and which course and college you went to, where do you work and what is your designation. How many people attended your marriage, since when you know each other. This is all to validate the marriage is genuine. If your marriage is genuine, need not to worry about anything. Just be confident.
7. If you work, your Job reference letter too. Tax receipts would support your stay in terms of being valid/legal.

Saw your post regarding your experience on Spousal Open Work Permit and just wanted to discuss my case with you.
I am here in Canada since last 1 year on closed work permit(sponsored from my company).
I recently got married 3 months back, after my marriage I applied for my wife's dependent visa request through my company.
But we received a visa refusal stating below reasons.
1. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

After few discussions and research, It seems that visitor visa was not the right category and I can apply for a SOWP for my wife.
I just wanted to check your views on my case, and it is good to go for SOWP.
Which all documents would be required in my case after one TRV refusal. To be more specific on questions.
1. Do I need to submit some immovable property on name of my wife in India(We don't have any so far), to justify that She will go back with me after our WP expires?
2. Is Joint account statement a mandatory document for SOWP to show our marriage genuineness?
3. Any other document which can be useful in case of new marriages.
For visitor visa I used below documents in first case:
All requested forms by Canadian government i.e. (IMM5257, IMM5645, IMM5713)
Invite letter for my spouse
Medical reports
Marriage certificate
Marriage photographs(8-10)
My financial status in Canada.
My current living details
All my company documents WP copy etc.
Any kind of suggestion much appreciated.
