I think upfront should be allowed for Paper Based PR. do check that-- If yes, It will not need AOR . That's the beauty of upfront test.
Note: Some panel physicians do offer guard an extra protection guard (from radiations). It's up to an individual to choose that based on discussion with doctor. My wife went for it...

1. Please note that this OINP program - Employer Job offer foreign worker is NOT an express entry eligible nomination. You will NOT get 600 points. You cannot modify your Express Entry profile and try to add this OINP nomination number there. Infact its better to disable and withdraw an Express Entry profile + Job Bank profile once you receive nomination in this stream and apply for PR. DO NOT apply PR in both the streams simultaneously. You would obviously not get two PR cards
2. You will need to wait 3-6 months for OINP nomination and then wait about 1 year 6 months to get the PR and the application is via paper process initially and then you can link it to an online profile once you get AoR. Progress will be slow and there is no way to speed it up, in any way, shape or form.
3. You will not need education credential evaluation - WES when applying through this stream.
4. LMIA is usually not required but expect additional documentation to be requested from employer, by OINP. OINP nomination can be used to file a closed Work Permit under LMIA exempt category. Open work permit will not be issued, even with a AoR.
5. IELTS is not required for NOC A and B (and some other specific NoCs?).
6. Age is not a factor and there are no points in this stream like Express Entry.
7. Proof of funds need not be submitted initially (unless specific case applies to you, like common law partner etc).
8. Police clearance certificates + photos are the only original documents you would typically submit for PR initially, for this stream. Nothing in original needs to be sent to OINP (unless asked specifically). OINP process is completely online.

9. Be ready to shell out C$2000 ($1500 for outside Greater Toronto Area) for OINP plus the additional PR costs (similar to EE).
But can you clarify the following for new comers regarding submitting application in e-filing portal:
1) On the checklist page there is no requirement to provide a police certificate, right?
2) Also there is no photograph requirements (size and etc.) – as I understand that I just need to scan the photograph from my travel passport in any size/format?
3) At what moment I'll get the opportunity to apply for closed work permit under this stream if I'm currently residing and applying outside the Canada? (right after submit my application in e-filing portal, during waiting for nomination or after getting the nomination)
4) The only mandatory documents for e-filing portal to apply for OINP nomination under the "Employer Job Offer : Foreign worker stream" are: identity docs, status docs in Canada (if applicable), employer documents, job offer documents, work history support docs, resume, other optional docs (if applicable) – is this correct?
hello everyone last time when I wrote abt job offer stream everyone informed me that its closed now. please let me know are they accepting new applications under this scheme now? Can I apply as I am a new candidate or are they taking only old applications at the moment?
Apply online. It has only one field Employer confirmation number. Employer cannot get this number without paying the fee anyways. I may be wrong asa things keep changing. My WP is in progress filed few days back.
I am applying online too. I cannot see any place to add the employment confirmation number or Offer of employment number. I can see I can add this number only in Form 1295E. I believe you have filled this form too.
Also one quick question? What did you add in Questionaire Section before submitting for this question "How long are you planning to stay in Canada?" It has three option, 1. temporary less than 6 months, 2. temporary more than 6 months 3. Permanent. I can't select permanent and continue because it redirects to saying you are eligible for CEC and Express Entry.

Make sure you don't select Open Work Permit by mistake. Then the confirmation of employment number won't show up.

1. For PR there is a requirement to submit them in original. OINP does not bother about criminality in general.
2. For OINP, we need to upload photos. For PR, we need to send them in original. Both have their own specifications (30x40 and 70x50 mm for PR if I remember). Read the application guide for both the streams completely. I cannot edit the post I made on page 122 anymore.
3. Irrespective of your residency, when you get your OINP nomination papers via email + you also get a work permit support letter. After this point, you can apply for closed work permit from wherever you are, without LMIA. This letter is valid for 6 months and you get closed WP for 2 years (typically what we have seen being mentioned in the WP support letter from OINP)
4. Yes + Photos. Read the complete 124 pages of this forum. Some folks including my employer received additional document request from OINP.
