I did it after mine was rejected. First i told the bank to send them in CAD but they send usd instead and payment was rejected. Mine bank also said they can only send usd i was tensed too visited many banks then I visited standard chartered a man there very helped me he called my bank manager and explained the procedure then they sent them again by buying CAD from USD from my account and after 2..3 days I got my gic certificate

Me too i also applied under sds my intake was January had to defer to September 2020 today got passport request. Just keep patience and believe in Allah

I've already deferred my admission to April, my intake was January session. And I've applied under sds to get reply ASAP now this delay

No i dont think so. It is written on passport request letter to submit passport and that letter within 30 days of its arrival. No appointment required

It's been 20 days after biometric submission and there's no response till yet

In my case I got an interview request from IRCC after exactly 20 days.

It’s totally upto IRCC 20 days or more its upto them and your luck. Just keep patience

Nope, I'm sorry i just mixed it with the Biometrics Collection. You don't need to get an appointment. Just the Passport Request letter & passport

Yes, it was. It was a long and tough interview and general questions were asked as well as questions according to my application. The general questions are the same, Why Canada? Why not Pakistan? Why this course? Etc. The rest of the questions are different for everyone.

Applied under SDS on 29th November 2019
Biometrics Submission: 2nd December 2019 (Medical passed the same day)
Message for interview: 19th January 2020
Interview Completed: 28th January 2020
Correspondence letter: 10th February 2020
PPR: 10th February
Passport submitted: 12th February 2020
Received it with Visa stamp: 17th February 2020
Applied for January intake and then deferred to May intake.

Hi, I have a quick question.

While filling the online visa application how do I know that I am filling the SDS application and not regular application? Because it is not asking for GIC or anything. I went through a questionnaire and it gave me a list of documents needed. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I would like to know that do we require a police certificate for SDS?
