We did yes! His medical exam was done in Guyana on December 3rd, and then on December 6th we got the notification that he passed.

Since then, we finally received AOR2 from Mexico on January 24th (we hit the year mark on Jan. 21st). Thats it for now, hopefully something more soon

Wow that is pretty nice. I did medical exam but not a notification that I passed.
What is AOR2? I really do not know.

it is easy - you go in the morning with two photos, drop the passport and photos at the embassy. Then pick it up a few hours later. Very straightforward- we did this in December.

The whole process took almost 18 months from submitting the application to arriving in Canada. Patience is necessary:)

we sent our application back in august 2018 we have done the medical since September 2 , and they have confirmed to us that they have received the medical result . Mexico are now asking for the original copy of the criminal background check and we still haven't receive any letter asking for biometrics.

does anyone on this forum dealing with this issue with MEXICO asking for original and still haven't receive the letter asking for biometrics? help!!!!!!

If you submitted in 2018 you will NOT be asked for biometrics. That requirement only started in 2019. So, that is not something you have to worry about. Send them the document they are asking for - it may be the only thing they are lacking to finish your file!

My wife did medical August 2019 and our file started nov 2018. Have heard nothing since medical passed August 28/19. Sit down and relax the wait is painful with IRCC
