Appeal won Jan 20
Decision letter by email Jan 22.
I guess by last week of Feb I should get an update /email .
Does my lawyer also get update email ? Is it the same GC account login prior to appeal that shows file in progress status?

Helo everyone. My full day hearing was on 30 jan. they asked questions from my wife in court and also me over the phone. It was almost all day. Judge said he will tell in 60 days. Anyone have idea till we will win or not. Have anyone whts app group for appeal cases

We won our appeal in Montreal yesterday (1 year, 1 month and 10 days after refusal). We told them what we thought about the lying visa officer(s) and the Minister's Counsel didn't say one thing in defense of them. The Minister's Counsel said she had no problem allowing the appeal after talking to my husband and the judge said she agreed. Good luck to everyone still fighting!!!

Please does anyone know when I ll get another update. Submitted updated forms and medical passed February 7th on gckey. What next please? When is background check suppose to start an when am I likely to get ppr ? Mississauga is processing our file.

Judge made decision at the same time. She said we will get a letter in 2 weeks.

My lawyer said 2-4 months but who really knows? No two cases are the same. I am at the same stage you are. I submitted requested documents last week and have not heard anything since.

I got a call from Ottawa today asking to confirm my emails. I havent heard that we got a decision yet, but i asked about an update on our file and he said "were processing it right now"! Im hoping im not getting too excited for no reason but im super excited! Anyone have any idea how long its taking for ottawa to process?

If his background check has started, I don't know about it. They have not sent anything indicating this. However, I've heard others say their GC key account never changed until they received, or after they received PPR
