Hey, PPR came from the Sydney VO. I had submitted my passport to VFS Bangalore
Yes, in my case it is 2 days less than a year
That's great.But even if u gave on 28th then it shouldn't be 28 nov?I just want to know is it not always the case that our medical test date is our expiry date of next year.My medical date on which I gavr was 25th March.So I am assuming that it would be 25 march this year only.Can there be any other possibility?You have neither got medical test taken nor medical pass date.But your ppr date.Its so confusing.My son's exam is getting over on 17th March and same day I have to leave as I assume that my copr exp wud be 25th.March.But considering ur case I am in dilemma that I may get some extended date to land.Its soo confusing.

@Wishcan what’s ur status?
Extension depends of visa officer. Some officers extend it others don’t.
I am still waiting for update on my passport stamping. I sent my passport via VFS Bangalore on 19 Dec. online tracker shows being processed at Delhi high commission.
Anyone else submitted their passport from Bangalore VFS?

Normally, the day you gave the medicals is not considered. The day that the medical report is received ar IRCC will the date that is considered. You can check your GCMS notes (if you have a set) to see the medical validity or you can call the call center to get the date

So theoretically if I needed additional tests, my medicals should be valid until around the time the results of the tests were received, and not my original medical date? I never received my GCMS notes unfortunately so I can't confirm that date. Someone in another thread said their COPR was valid until their AOR date, but perhaps it was just a coincidence that IRCC received it the day of AOR.

Technically, IRCC is not really concerned with a lot of medical conditions. Their primary concern is to identify if we have any communicable diseases, AIDS, TB, and such. Unless you have been asked for additional tests by IRCC, your initial medicals stand good, until they expire, or you get your ppr mail. In my case the medicals had expired by the time I got my PPR, so prior to the PPR mail, we were intimated that we have to submit a fresh medical test.

The folks who got CoPR valid till AOR is confusing, but it looks like a coincidence, that the AoR and CoPR date match.
