Further medical tests requested (For Primary Applicant):30-04-2019
Final medical repsorts submitted:15-07-2019
Medical Results:Still awaited
Background check :Not asked so far

My parents were travelling from New delhi to visit me to Toronto today Dec 1 2019 but my father (principal applicant) was not issued the boarding pass stating : "Your VISA is CANCELLED" where as my mother (secondary applicant) was issued the boarding pass.

Could not understand the reason as airline authorities didnt state any except stating go to the : "Canadian high Commision". Has anybody else faced a similar kind of situation or can suggest some possible reasons/outcomes ?

Many thanks for reading this and for replies.

since there are issues identified with your Father's medicals combined with his PR app in process, the Canadian High commission can cancel the visa

I don't think so. His father is listed as primary applicant, and mother as dependent. If it was cancelled her visa must have got cancelled too. Dependent don't get visa with out Principal Applicant. You will be ok, check with High Commission again.

Guys I am really confused and preplexed over this situation. Yes, my fathers' medicals have complications but so far no communication has been received from Canadian authorities stating their decision as the file is "still in progress" nor was any advisory issued to prohibit my father for not travelling to Canada. In the past, he has flown twice using the same VISA and there were no complications. Please suggest where to put in e mail communication to get more fact finding. Guys please if you can use your previous experiences and guide me through this,

From this https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ary-residents/visitors/cancellation-visa.html information i think the GCMS notes would be better option. It takes 30 days to get it

Thanks

Please suugest how to us the GCMS Option(Also note I didnt fill or submit the PGP application. This was done through an independent consultant.).Pleasde advise.
Any person who is a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently present in Canada can order GCMS notes on Applicant's behalf. You need consent from your father to do this.

Follow this thread (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...order-gcms-notes-step-by-step-process.513893/)
The steps might be a little different when you fill up the forms as they changes often.

From your posts it seems your father's Visitor visa is cancelled. PGP is still in progress. So when you are asking for GCMS notes you need to fill the correct information related to visitor visa (The Cancelled visa). Otherwise they may send you different information.

GCMS notes also sometime couple of pages 14 or 15 or more. You may need to read very carefully to find the correct information.

Also try to call airline to find out why they cancelled it. Did CIC informed them? or How they got informed and by whom? If you got the nice person, may be helpful for you

Thanks

Hello friends,
My status was changed to Decision made on November 12, 2019 and on November 21, 2019, we received letter asking us to submit following:

Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document copy of the updated passport biodata page. This must be received at this office by: 2019/12/21.

Not sure why they are asking for the copies, my parents passports were expired earlier this year, and we renewed those this year, is that could be the reason. Any thoughts on this will be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression that for VISA cancellation they are required to inform the visa holder , call him/her in person for interview and then physically stamp the VISA as Cancelled.Lets assume for a minute that the VISA got cancelled but there was no communication to my consultant or to the applicant in person advising not to travel.(My fathers VISA is valid till 2025 though). Kindly suggest.

@YULIA-2016 Please update line item 221.

Visas and COPR issued on Nov. 26th at ANKARA's VAC. (Received today - Dec 3rd)

Question for ppl who have completed their landing if still are active here. (@YULIA-2016 )
For your parent's asset declaration, I have the BSFA form that needed to be completed. But is there also a sample available that you can share so I get an idea of how to complete the jewellery section etc. ? I wanna know how detail you need to prep this information (pictures, stamps, SN# etc.)

Thanks.

@YULIA-2016 Could you please update row 239 - my parents received the request for a copy of their passports and photos on Nov 25, 2019 and they submitted the documents on Dec 3, 2019.

Based on the other entries, it appears that it will take less than a month to receive the COPR document. They plan to move to Canada after the winter is over so it may be 5-6 months after they receive the COPR - is there any issue with this? I read that the COPR is valid for one year after the date of the medical test, so hopefully that is ok but if not, they can change their plan to move sooner.
