It worked my assumption was right. I had to carry my transcripts with WES academic form which is downloaded from WES canada website. Collect a post form from BU post office. Get the seal on post form that confirms it's been sent from university. On the other hand get the WES form filed signed and sealed by the BI evaluator. Don't forget to get a seal done on courier cover as well. Then submit these documents to BU post office up to 1300 odd rupees and say kudos to BU.
Hi Kokila,

What do you mean by "WES form filed signed and sealed by the BI evaluator."? Does the university sign on this or how? and did your documents got verified in 2-3 weeks once it reached them. Can you please update.

Do I need to mention the same WES reference number for both PG & UG transcripts, or do I need to pay twice to WES for two different certification?
Denzil, there is only one ref number for all of your education (UG, PG, PhD). When creating an account in WES, mention all your education details.

Hey Folks!

Had visited BU Today for Official Transcripts (OT). To share my experience:

Update 1: Submission of Application/Documents for OT

1) Went through all the posts on this thread and has helped me a lot to understand to get the OT. Firstly, I enquired in my college how to get the seal and signature, what documents do I need to bring in. My college dint look at any of my semester marks card they took the Filled BU Form (Available on the website). It was completed application and went to the Principal got the seal and signature on that form.

2)Got to BU Website and pay the application fees online (No DD or Cash receipts). Take a print out once you pay the fees.

3) Go to BU, Pareeksha Bhavan (Not to be confused with Administrator's Office (AO) in BU Campus). Pareeksha Bhavan is just 2 buildings away from AO. Pareeksha Bhavan is an old building, circular in shape. At the ground floor as soon as you enter, you get Enquiry counter towards the right.
Get in over there, there will be 3-4 people for collection of documents (Time was 12:20 PM). Submit (in this order: Your convocation(if you have), Sem 1-6 Marks Card). And another set of your BU Form (Signed by the college) and Payment Receipt. He will collect all the documents and provide you with an acknowledgement slip. He will then tell you to come back after 20 days.

All the procedure took only 5 mins for me once I reached the Pareeksha Bhavan.

I shall update you post 20 days, once I have the OT.

Thank you.

Did you get the transcripts from Bangalore University?
You are going with CES right for your ECA? What's your education?
Have you created the application by paying them? Or after getting transcripts you will be doing?

Hi Roopa,

I have applied for B.Sc transcripts about 10 days back. Should be able to get it by 4-5th Nov. My ECA evaluation will be from WES.

For the BU form: The application form is available online, you got to take a print of it and fill in your details and get the seal and signature of your college principal.

however, for payment - you got to fill the details online and you will get the acknowledgment online. Carry a print of that too..

I shall update here once I receive my transcripts.

Hello,

1.fill up the form, get it signed and sealed from your college's principal.
2.get the DD from SBI bank(Administrative block few mts away from Pariksha Bhavan).
3.Submit the transcripts application form, xerox copy of your mark sheets ,degree certificate, WES academic request form, DD receipt, envelops in PB 1st floor.
4.They take around 15-20 days for the transcripts.
5.Visit BU after 15-20 days, go to the INDIA POST(administrative block), collect the form from post office, fill up the "TO" address(WES address) and get the BU seal on the form in "FROM" field(1st floor Pariksha Bhavan).
6. once the transcripts are in the sealed envelope, check if the envelop has FROM address as BU address on it with a seal.
7. Go to the India post office and courier the documents.

That's it!!! it hardly takes 2 times visit to BU.

my docs are accepted and its in evaluation phase. I will keep you posted on my WES status.

Could you please tell me where did you get the form mentioned in step 1. the signature and seal has to be from the place where the degree was taken from right? my wife is the applicant here. if you could pass on your e mail id i can share it with my wife so that she can get clarifications.

1. You can get the application form here
2. Download the application form from the Fourth option
3.Fill the form:
If you studied at a college that is affiliated to Bangalore university, you will have to get photocopies of all your marks cards along with the degree certificate (1 set each for 1 copy/set of transcript, need 2 to for 2 and so on.) Filled application form should bear a seal & sign of your college principal.

Once that is done only then visit Bangalore university to submit the application else you will be running around between college and University. Take your WES academic request form also.

Pay the fees here and take a print of it and visit the BU - Pareeksha Bhavan.

Hi

The information was very helpful. Even I am in the same situation here. Have my transcript in hand and I recently registered in WES.

Just for a clarification, like you said I need to carry the transcript and the WES form to the university and get the Wes form filled and signed by the BU official. Take it to the postal department and pay for the fees and send it across.
Is there anything that they need to do on the transcript again?

Hi Georgy,

If you have graduated from BU then I would suggest you to submit WES academic form and your mark sheets along with convocation at the time of submission.

As I had forgot to submit the WESacademic form which is mandatory for BU applicants, I carried this at the time of collecting my transcript. The guy took an additional day to have it signed from the official as he was unavailable.

Once all docs are in place, you can post it with your WES REF number.

Update 2:
Collecting and Posting of Transcripts

It’s 6-Nov. Was excited to collect the transcripts from BU and have it couriered.

Went to Pareeksha Bhavan (Same building where I submitted the marksheets etc) went to 1st floor, Room no 9 (towards your right, when reaching the 1st floor). Provided the acknowledgement and got the transcripts in 2 mins in an BU envelope.

with this envelope, we then have to go to another room which is on left from the staircase. Here, they will put the final seal on the envelope and check your documents...(to be cont).

Important Note: To save your time, before you visit Pareeksha Bhavan. Go to admin block, IndiaPost - take the declaration form from here. They shall provide you only 1 copy of it, you need to get 3 more photocopies of it.As Photocopy service is not available in the whole University campus. So you got to go to outside of university which will be 500m, get it done and come back. Now, go directly to Pareeksha Bhavan.

Alternative to above, you can complete declarations form step while at your 1st visit. Just collect the form post submission of documents. Go home, get it photocopied and on the day of collecting documents you can directly get it sealed on it. Hence you are saving loads of time and fuel, also stress.

(Continuing..)
So this guy puts all the final seal on envelope , checks your transcripts, WES Academic form and he shall also ask you the declaration form. Provide him 3 copies of it and he shall place the “From” address seal from BU. Now your job is only to seal the envelope with Gum/ Tape. Take that to Indiapost admin block and post it.

Job done!
