No usually first thing is biometric....then remaning documents. You will have to show strong bank statement. ...where in SDS u pay upfront and get GIC and dont have to worry about statement. ..also you will hear from them after a while...i did hear that SDS has more chances of approval then Non SDS because you have to show strong documents. Why did u choose NoN SDS ...IELTS? Or Finances?

Hahahaha true that but does it make ny difference if i recieve the biometric validation letter before the medical request?
You may not have applied under SDS if you haven't taken an upfront medical exam, as that's required. What did you answer for this question - "Have you had a medical exam performed by an IRCC authorized panel physician (doctor) within the last 12 months"?

Neither, the course i got accepted for has a very weird tution structure so you can't pay for the whole year. I got accepted at the university of alberta fo winter 2020. Plus the GIC was also giving me a big headache as the banks here are very uncooperative. Hence i went for the non SDS as i had all my documents prepared and ready.

Well i think it would have been better to go with SDS i am not sure why any program wouldnt let you take SDS route. Btw i am not sure if you will be able to make it for winter in non sds. You dont have much time.. and its lengthy process even you have all the documents...government of canada take thier sweet time with non sds. Think over and see if you can change it to spring or just gamble with it. You never know

Hey guys,

I'm new here, i got acceptance for my university after which i applied online for my study permit on 16th october 2019, i got my biometric request the very next day and completed the biometrics on 18th october 2019. I just recieved a biometric validation letter (28th october 2019) and haven't recieved anything other than that not even the medical request? Can anyone guide me here? I applied in non SDS.
Thats really weird receiving biometric validation letter at this stage. This letter usually comes at very end of processing. I applied for my BIL study permit on Oct 3 SDS and received biometric validation letter on Oct 28 around 10:30am PST.

what time you got mycic email in your inbox?

Thankyou, does the timing of BVL make any difference??
Honestly they sent BVL once the decision is about to made on file at least thats what I see on this forum. BVL always comes at last stage after that final decision.
