i sent additional documents requested to CPC Mississauga on Friday on the email address they provided in the letter. How long will it take for them to update the status with documents received?
What is your timeline and where is your application being processes ?

Also, are you inland or outland applicant ?

For MVO, it usually takes them about 1 week in most cases but if you have sent them all requested documents, then they should directly be sending you Pre-Arrival information Email and PPR ... This has been the usual trend.

The status in GCKey change to -
Review of additional documents Help - Review of additional documents
  • The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
However, the application status still says "Your action is required." Don't see any updates in ECAS. Should I expect anything soon?

sometimes they do sometimes they don’t. But once the file is transferred to NDVO it shouldn’t take more than 3 months. Best of luck.

We finally got some movement.
They are asking us to send newly updated forms (5532 and 5669). The letter sounds as if our application was incomplete and now they are asking us to send these forms again even though we sent them and I am sure that they would have returned the whole application if they were missing. Also they just say "newly updated" and not that they were actually missing. I am happy that we can do something now but it seems like a complete waste of time especially because the letter states that if our application meets all requirements for processing after submitting the documents, it will enter the processing queue based on its date of re-submission.
I guess that I will move to the October thread then. Or am I still an April applicant?

------------------------------------------PLEASE HELP--------------------------------------

Hi,

I have received an email saying "Final Request" to provide identity documents. A line below the document request, it also says: complete Medical Examination for Myself and all family members.

I have already submitted my medicals and status on my CIC account- you passed the medical.

My question is 'is it a general statement from CIC or asking me to give again with all family member. Pls. help

"From CIC:

In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

> Supporting identity documents: If a birth is registered late, include the original baptism
certificate and other original documents establishing identity such as: Old school records (Fifth
class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate), and Voter's ID card.
This must be received at this office by: 2019/11/08

As a final reminder, you must also complete the medical examination for you and all family members
within 30 days of this letter if you have not done so previously. You are required to have all your family
members be examined as part of the process of applying for permanent residence in Canada, even if
they will not come to Canada with the principal applicant. This examination of your non accompanying
dependent is in accordance with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulation section 70(1)(e)."

Thanks
