Hi po....thank you for your replies to queries, very much helpful...I would also like to ask kung meron pro-forma questionnaire ang SOP or just a letter form..thanks in advance
Hi. There is no specific format - here's what I included in my sop.
1.brief introduction: educ background, highlighted relevant career, then career goal (next/higher position Im aiming for).
2.Reasons for choosing specific program in Canada (relevance to career goal). Also did a brief comparison on similar programs available here sa pinas.
3.Reasons for choosing specific school over other schools in Canada
4.Reasons for choosing Canada over other countries
5.Future plans (career/employment prospects) in home country after completion of studies
6.Also briefly discussed my ties to home country

Based on feedbacks it is recommended to make the sop as short and concise as possible (1 to 2 pages max). There are also a lot of tips on how to make an sop here sa forum and on the internet. Goodluck on your application :)

Hi, was refused a student visa second time already in SDS because of proposed studies not reasonable. My GCMS notes for my 2nd refusal are similar to my 1st:

On review of all info including PA's previous employment/educational history, their motivation to pursue studies in Canada at this point does not seem reasonable; study plan submitted is general and does not outline a clear career path for which such an edcational programme would be of benefit. Considering applicant's extensive education and 17 years of work experience in the same field, I am not satisfied that applicant would not have already achieved the benefits of this program. It is not evident why applicant would study this program at such great expense considering applicant already possesses a higher level of qualification. I am not satisfied that this is a reasonable progression of studies, which raises concerns regarding applicant's intended purpose in Canada. Not satisfied on balance that applicant is a genuine student who would respect terms of authorized stay, nor that S-1 is not to facilitate entry to Canada for other unknown reasons. Application denied.

I already addressed these in detail in my reapplication SOP (around 5 pages). My study plan was definitely not general and was detailed, I have travel history visas to US and Canada and respected them always, but visa officer was not convinced. :(

Background:
39 years old
Planning to take up Creative Advertising college diploma at Seneca
Traveling with spouse and child
Bs Comm Tech Mgt graduate
17 years work as magazine editor and web writer

Thanks!

Is it possible to study Computer Network Administrator if you have a degree in Business Administration? Do you know if anyone has been approved in this kind of scenario?

Yes, the GCMS will help a lot. It will explain why you were refused in your first application. Our application is similar: Me - student permit, wife - open work permit, 2 kids (9 & 14) - tourist (student visa not needed). We submitted our first application last April and got refused last May. We got the GCMS notes and replied/complied to each reason they explained there. Submitted our 2nd application last August 1 and got approved last Sept. 11.
Hi po. Congrats on your reapplication! Same din po ako, SP + OWP + 1 kid TRV. Pero refused 2nd time even though I addressed GCMS notes in a detailed manner. Still got same refusal reason :(

So, question ko po. San ko po iuupload ung personal study plan, nbi, police clearance, medical, college transcript at iba pa.

Another question,
Is it wise to do it myself?

Hi. You may upload it sa client info field merge it to one file. Compress it if it goes beyond the file capacity but make sure its still readable. For your school payment receipt you may include it sa proof of financial field (merge it to1 file) and for anything related to passport (passport stamps, visas etc) you may include it sa passport field (merge it to1 file). This is what I did. Hope this helps :)

My 2cents: The application process is pretty straightforward and no one knows your profile better than yourself (plus saving money from agency fees) so Im all for DIY application. I also applied on my own with a lotsa help from this forum :) Nothing against going through agencies though - its really up to you :)

Hi, have been refused study visa 2 times, despite having addressed the refusal reasons (GCMS notes) in my latest SOP. Would you recommend hiring an agency na? Thanks!

Thank you kind sir.
Another question sir, about the medical sir, should i get it first then include it in merged files. Or after sending everything, they'll send me something and i send it afterwards?

Not sure about this. Maybe seniors can help. What I submitted was my tor and diploma directly given by the school.

Thank you kind sir.

Im a Ms. Hehe For medical it depends- are you applying sa sds route? If yes then upfront medical is required but if regular you can just wait for further instructions from the VO. Either way you may upload the form that will be given by the clinic once you're done
