Study Permit extension delay? May2019

Hi guys, I am in the same situation. I applied for my study permit extension on June 24 along with my wife OWP extension. So far, no reply. The status is still "submitted". Do you know if there is any other thing we can do? Like, go to the border to try something? Thanks
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do even submit a web forum will be the same as calling.at the border they can not issue a study or a work permit but if you already have one they can issue a Co-op work permit and open work permit for your spouse or PGWP

could you explain it better? In my situation, the only documents I have are my expired study permit and my wife's expired open work permit. Could I go to the border and claim something?
Unfortunately no you can’t it must be valid and they will issue the Co-Op work permit or the open work permit the same validity as your original study permit.
Let’s say you got a new study permit and you didn’t apply for your wife or your kids in the same time then you have better option then applying online and wait too long time you can apply for a spouse open work permit or visitor record at any port of entry & you can get it in the same day which is easier & faster. But this doesn’t apply in your situation

When did You applied in June? Some people applied in first week of June started to get updates on their applicationsNothing yet.
