How can he do it upfront, if there is a medical request already. What did you do to get it upfront. He asked IOM employee to do it upfront and he was told if he’s applying for any type of visa, she can allow him to do it. I am just not understanding how comes they sent me the request and it’s not in the system yet. I am not sure how long it takes to update the system

Good News guys
I just received a medical request for my husband today,
1- I got My DM in Dec 06 2018
2- requsted document in Dec 06 2018
3- file transfered to VO in Dec 16 2018
4- All requested document was received in January 21 2019
5- pre arrival email in March 05
6- I was waiting since March 05 for security check
7- Medical request Sep 08

I hope everyone will get it soon

After filling the forms and pay fees for permanent resident then submit to immigration they send send email that they received my application or they inform by mail ?

For example today I submit my documents . When they conform they received my application?

You should check with courier to make sure that your application was delivered. IRCC will send an acknowledgment of receipt letter to your mail or email with the application number , normally you’ll receive it around 2-4 months from receiving date

- Spouse outside of Canada (dad) sent his two requested forms that were mentioned in the DM

August 15, 2019 .. another request of marriage certificate, police clearance, proof of communication, birth certificate, a copy of the passport, Basis of Claim from the sponsor, additional family members form + travel for the past 10 years+ sponsored questionnaire + sponsor questionnaire and military booklet. Dad sent all of these documents on Sept. 11, 2019.

When he receives Passport request, he’ll have to mail the original passport to the embassy??
