Changed time frame in work experience

Hi All ,

i have a question regarding work experience time frame . i have applied for student visa in 2016 where i shown experience of 2.5 years. now i am applying for PR and showing 3 years experience with authenticate experience letter and last six months salary slips with income tax return documents.

is there a double check by CIC wih old student application and current PR application ? is it okay to use different dates ?

It shouldn't be an issue. As long as you have evidence to prove your work experience you should be fine.

Yes there will certainly be a check between past applications but small inaccuracies are usually fine,

so they call the company and confirm the experience as well right ? as i left the company 3 years ago on a safer side i should provide known contacts so they can recognize me easily and answer yes i was employed there ?
