Just found out that security has passed, eligibility is awaiting review (second pair of eyes) and background check is partially done. How Long more do you think it’s going to take?

Moreover, just started and completed a contract at Goldman Sachs after I submitted my application. Wondering if I should add it in and update them? Do you think it will speed up or slow down the process?

Many thanks!

  • AOR: 25th March 2019
  • MEP: 15th April
  • 1st ghost update: 5th May 2019
    • Medicals passed: 7th May 2019
    • BG started
  • Background check cleared: 13th May 2019 (Though this was updated only on 24th July)

I would suggest not to wait for email response. No one I know has gotten any useful response over email. To check on your application, its best to call (faster) or get GCMS notes. However, what you have said, sounds like things are moving well for you considering the file moving to LVO and the ghost update. If you can... be patient. If not, call them :)
I can’t find a telephone number, i only have their email. Do you think i still proceed with it? I hope it doesn’t pisses them off

Well, I read many times in this forum that FDs are absolutely fine. If it's less than 6months, they might question the source, but then again I provided all the explanations. And it's not like they didn't consider the FDs at all. I didn't keep much balance in my savings account and most of them were in FDs. Indian Fixed Deposits can be liquidated anytime (except tax-savings ones that are clearly mentioned as such). I can't figure out what exactly the agent omitted from his calculations.

However, I'm planning to play safe and liquidate my FDs to cover the required amount and raise a CSE with the new statements.
They do consider fds.... I have shown my almost whole amount in fds and I didn’t get any issue at all...

That's what I believe too. No idea what's wrong. I have a feeling they didn't consider the FDs opened within 6 months (though I have provided all statements and explanations to support the funds; most of them were auto-renewed after maturity hence the new date).

I hope it won't be an issue in the grand scheme of things. But the file has been put under review, so the 6months clock is no longer valid for me :(

Don’t worry everything will go well....
I had only fds and few funds in my saving account.... I was scared too but in the end everything went really well....
Don’t loose the hope and stay positive...
All the best....

What's your source of information about your 6 months timeline is not valid for the file status under review?
