Yes, I called IRCC yesterday, a 40min wait once you get in the queue. I think we're all at Sydney VO now.
Btw, how did you find your ghost updates? just keep logging in the cic accounts?

I don't know how normal this is but my Biometrics information in the Applicant Information section at the bottom of the CIC page is populated with the biometrics data I submitted for my study permit back in 2016. Does this mean I won't need to submit biometrics again?

They usually send u message regarding that with biometric letter ..

Nope, I did not. I check my profile very often so when I logged in I saw "Application Updated" in the Status column. Medical was Passed and Background check was "We are processing"
