On Monday, July 15th, I saw “decision made” on the PR application side on ECAS.

Is it normal to not receive any email or letter about “decision made” and to only see it in ECAS?

Our file was transferred to Accra, Ghana on a July 2nd and my husband is Nigerian and we have not received Medical request yet or even approval it has arrived at Accra. How about yourself?

Is there any Nigeria here that their file was transferred to Accra

Hey congrats! We just got Decision Made too, it should mean the passport request is coming to you shortly! Seems pretty common right now for them to update the status to Decision Made and send out the passport request a few days later.

Nah does not work that way... Applications are treated by case to case basis. Some applicants might need more time because of background and security checks, some Countries work slower than others in providing information to IRCC. Sometimes the officer might have the application sitting on his/her desk and ready but did not get to it. Just be patient and don't compare your application to others.
Yep, it definitely does not work that way.
We still haven't heard anything after AOR and I have lived in Germany my entire life except for being in Canada for 6 months. We have children, have been living together for almost 9 years so I assume that our relationship is obviously genuine. I feel like our application is just sitting on a desk waiting to be looked at again. I just keep telling myself that if I hadn't found this forum, I would not be worrying because all I would know is that the general processing time is 12 months.

You are a naturalized German or born in Germany? Your children are already Canadians also? If I were you I would call them ask them if they have any updates on your application... Make sure you check spam folders also, sometimes emails do get lost or deleted by accident. Are you the sponsor or PA? Do you have a representative?

Just wanted to know if we have to inform IRCC of pregnancy during the process? Or do we only inform them of the birth of a child?

Hello Friends,
I applied visitor visa for my wife in last December and she did her Bio-metric at that time. Is it still good for her Sponsorship file or she need to give again coz on her last bio-metric letter it says valid till 2028. If anyone had experience like this or knows something then please reply here.

Thanks in advance to everyone.

I was born in Germany and am PA. My husband and kids are all Canadian by birth. We check ECAS daily and also keep checking the spam folder. I asked here before if maybe I should call and I kind of thought from the answers that maybe I should not because they will tell me that the general processing time is 12 months. I don't want them to put a red flag on our application because we called them and they were annoyed by it.
