I submitted my online application for the study permit last week. I wish all students, and particularly from Pakistan, gather here to share their views and status details.

Two of the features from online application status are changed:
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Email the canadian embassy in pakistan with your application number, uci number, passport number and full name because youre way past the application processing timr

Do they reply clearly about the delaying matter?

Hey everyone, i am making my profile and everything that is required for apply for student visa. Can someone please asses my profile and give me guidance?

Matriculation complete in 2010 -------- 70.6%
I.Cs completed in 2012 ------------------ 63%
Bs.CS (4 year) completed in 2016 ---- 2.91 CGPA (Punjab University)
IELTS overall 6.5
7 each in listening and speaking and 6 each in reading and writing.
About 10 months of work experience. There was a 2 year gap after my studies because of some family issues. I do know i have to make a strong.
Any advice? Please

I didn’t receive any update on my online application, but I have received the following three emails from VFS global (all dates of emails received are in bold):

Visa application, tracking ID No. XXXXXX has been dispatched to OC from VAC, on 2019-07-9 01:27:50 PM GMT Standard Time for processing.Please note this is an auto generated e.mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

Visa application, tracking ID No. XXXXXX The envelope for the decision on the results of your visa that has been processed has been received at the Canadian Visa Application Center at Pakistan OC,Islamabad, on the date. We will then send this to the Canadian Visa Application Center Pakistan OC,Islamabad. Please note that this is an automated email. Please DO NOT reply to this email (received on 2019-07-17 in morning).

I am confused. I don’t know what’s going on. Any ideas?

Applied on June 21 VFS Lahore, linked on June 25 and still waiting for a response after medical cleared on July 14.....Just putting this post out there so everyone from Pakistan can have an idea of the processing times...

So my issue was a little different...

I applied with upfront medical.. When i linked it online. It showed my medical passed the day after but then it just went away and said you so not require a medical, we will notify if this changes, then on July 7, I got the IMM1017 medical request. It took me like 7 days to go back and forth with IOM and submitted webforms and eventually got a reply for my third webform in July 14 mentioning they have linked my medical and said that they are processing certain background checks....

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

You must contact a supervisor of your field (one of the faculty members at the school of the institution you wish to apply for).
