Got PPR couple of days back.
AOR Sept 07
MEP Oct 1st
Eligibility RR
Ghost update on June 10th ( waiting for medical extension)
PPR July 03rd
Hi everyone,

My AOR was 11 Sep 18.
I had to order my GCMS notes because my online profile has not been updated.
Eligibility - Passed (16 Oct 18)
Criminality - Passed (08 Nov 18)
Medical - Passed (09 July 19) [The clinic forgot to upload my x-rays so I lost four months]
Security - Blank [Agent told me it was passed]

Do you know what is the next step?

Thanks,
Hi there,

I am on exactly the same situation.

Except, i have s15 on my security page.

I was wondering if you have anything written, or just blank?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I had S15 in the corner. From what I read, you won’t know whether it is in progress or complete. It will stay blank.

I called CIC and the agent told me it was passed. Someone on the forum said if criminality is passed there is a good chance that security has passed too but can’t confirm that.

I also confirmed today that I am receiving an email in the next few days. I think this may be my PPR.

Regards

Hi guys!

I finally received the golden email!

By the way, my online profile has not changed, and it still shows that they are reviewing whether my spouse and I meet the eligibility requirements and background check is in progress, etc. So, always check your junk email and spam.

CEC applicant + spouse

AOR - 28 Sep
Meds passed and RCMP request for dependent - 26 Oct
RCMP background check submitted - Nov 9
Docs request (updated police certificates from Mexico, even if the ones they received, from the Canadian Embassy in Mexico, had been issued by the end of October and we have not gone back to Mexico for more than one week) - 15 May
Docs sent to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico to request new police certificates - 23 May
Online upload of a letter informing of the docs sent to Mexico and scan copy of the docs sent along with the tracking number and proof of delivery in Mexico - June 4
PPR - July 8

Visa office - Sydney, NS
First set of GCMS notes requested on Nov 16 - received Dec 16
Second set of GCMS notes requested on Apr 2 - Not received yet

It is all about patience! It will come! Thank you for all your support :)

He will give you update, but you can get it also by calling CIC. Emailing Ralph is particularly useful for those applicants who’s applications are outside Canada, because we cannot call CIC to inquire about our application. And raising CSE and emailing Visa office is useless cuz they take forever to reply. Ralph will give you reply mostly within same day or next. Super fast.
Why can't one simply call CIC/IRCC? It takes half an hour and you can get the statuses of eligibility, criminality and security. The only thing that can't be heard from such a call - the reason for RR (if any).

Please read again carefully what I have written...

“.....useful for those applicants who’s applications are ‘OUTSIDE’ Canada....”

You see people who’s applications are being processed outside Canada i.e. their files are assigned to non local visa offices, cannot call CIC to inquire about their applications or get updates. When we call CIC, the agent will say ‘I cannot assist you with this query because I do not have access to your file since it is being processed outside of Canada’.

Hi everyone,

Make sure that your email is correct. Whether you contact CIC or check your GCMS notes.

I noticed in my GCMS notes that they used the wrong primary email (it was an old one that is now deactivated). My correct email was secondary.

The PPR email is only sent to the primary email, so I have had issues trying to get that corrected and the PPR sent to my proper email address. The agent said I usually have to wait 5 business days before they can contact the agent to make the correction, but he made an exception. Hopefully I get that PPR today!

Got it. Thought you had written about outland applicants in general, not about VOs.
