Hi Yvonne

I received my GCSM notes yesterday. I am still figuring out to interpret it, but it pretty much states that since Dec. 21, 2019 our app has not been touched.

The only other date that is in it is May 13, when I think someone just checked my police reports were there.

We have not heard ANYTHING since AOR 7 months ago.

I ordered them to confirm or deny that our file was in Montreal's Innovation Hub. We still don't know, because where it says "originated" it says CPC Mississauga, but often we see "Montreal Immigration" along the notes.

Anyways, you got me to keep you company! We are going to change/extend my son's status to worker since he can't study (we cannot afford international fees).
Hi @mili80
How long did it take for you to receive the notes?

it takes 30-35 days
My GCMS notes took 30 days ~ I’m the sponsor and I paid $5. for mine. Interestingly, we ordered my husband’s GCMS notes two months later~ there was no cost this time, as we took the other option (Access to Info??) and they only took 16 days to arrive by email.

When was the last time you ordered your notes?
Some people say GCMS notes it makes your case faster and some people say its the opposite and I feel the opposite is true don't know why
But I'm just curious what the officer wrote on file so I ordered my notes

If you order it under Privacy Act you don't pay anything

It seemed that (but this might just be coincidence) wherever we ordered the notes, it coincided with a ghost update, followed by an update.

When was the last time you ordered them? And how long did it take you to receive them?
They say its 30 days but others received it in longer than that so what about you?

People who are staying in Canada can order under the privacy act and need not pay. That is only if the primary applicant is in Canada

According to the law it is 30 days, but sometimes due to work load it comes in 35-40 days

Hello guys! Yesterday my wife -PA received this:

We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office in Vancouver Immigration will contact
you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application.

Is this AIP? If so, how long does it take to receive the interview letter?

Thanks!

Wow!!! That is great news! It’s your landing letter, I think. You are so close now....
