They are not requested yet, status changed from passed to we do not need medical on 5th of June.
I hope they request the extension automatically. But I’m not sure if the cio office requests medical extension, it’s a positive sign for PPR or it really doesn’t matter.

At the end, during final review, visa officer from LVO will decide. May extend or ask for a new once :D

Yes I agree. I’m inland. In my case, cio had requested for extension. Do you think, it’s a positive sign? I tried checking few blogs, no precise answer.

Again, At final review, if you meet all criteria you will get PPR. By the way how you knew CIO requested for extension ? Via GCMS note ? What is your status in medical now ?

I had called ircc. They’ve mentioned the extension has been requested. My status has been changed from ‘Passed medicals’ to ‘you do not require medicals’. Happened last week.

Side note: my medicals are actually valid through Nov 2019 but my spouse got expired around May 2019.

Same, its my spouse too. I read some people got PPR but medical status was "you do not require medicals" But extended internally.

Btw, what is your AOR date? Also the eligibility status ?
AOR Feb 8, visa office Winnipeg IRCC,
Normally they take 6 months for final decision. Not sure about exact status but according to them file waiting in queue waiting for final review by officer. Ordered GCMS 23 may
