You are absolutely right that putting our lives on hold while waiting for PR is unbearable, which reminds me of an article recently circulated in the blog.

Speaking from a perspective of an CEC applicant, at the moment, while waiting PR endless processing time:

First, I cannot start my PhD studies w/o PR, because it's very expensive (despite financial assistance from the university)

Second, I cannot apply for government related jobs (BTW, these are the majority of jobs I can apply after my Master's degree), because for some weird reason all my applications (w/o having PR) are turning out to be unsuccessful :(

However, it is worth mentioning that Canadian immigration system is probably the most efficient in the world
Again, I have no problem with Canadian Immigration system. I'm probably the biggest fan of Canada and admire their immigration system. However, it's their processing times that's very frustrating and I'm sure many would agree with me.

Guys I need some help

I got the PPR email. The email has Primary Office: CPC-Ottawa written in it.
The problem is they gave me instruction on how to send passport via vfs India and VFS will send your passport to the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi in a secure envelope.
However I have recently moved to USA (had used web form to update the address).
Now I want to get in touch with them to ask them for instructions on how to send it from USA
but I am not sure where I should send the email.

Since it says primary office CPC-Ottawa I sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
Should I be sending the email to high commission of canada in delhi
or just use the web form?
There was another email address given to me by a friend who also recently got his PPR
IRCC.Agent-Agent.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

Should I send it there?

Any help is appreciated
Thanks!
Send to CSE, to the Ottawa VO email address and to the NDVO email address.

NDVO have been issuing PPR for the last 2 weeks now even London VO have started to issue PPRs.

Does anyone really know what goes on Ottawa VO? There was even 4 week gap between draws and yet they're still way behind than other VOs

Ottawa is issuing them too but all family applicants. Most of the ppl getting ppr are family applicants. The only frustrating part with this immigration system is that there is no transparency. They should folow fifo process for all applications as is followed in case while passing medicals.

Even simple applications that have no travel history, RR or fall under SS are pending decision even after 8 months. So you really have to wonder whether the case is complex or they're just incompetent.

Guys, I received Australian State Nomination from Canberra . Didn't see that coming :D:D:D:D The email was in my spam folder for past 3 days ::):)

I got nominated with 65 points, lowest score to receive nomination in recent draws.

Last year, I rejected EOI from Australia when I got Canada ITA, a decision I regretted even more in the last few weeks. Now I am going to think about this over the weekend and decide whether or not to pursue on this journey since I am really getting tired of this Canada nonsense :):):):):)

Very happy and thankful that life has given me another opportunity :):):)
Congrats!!! Canada will probably come calling with good news just when you decide to switch over to Australia, lol.

Thanks but I may not actually switch.I just wanted to share that life has provided me with another opportunity and it is something to think about.

Ofcourse, all this waiting for Canada has become very depressing but at the same time it has also taught me to see life with a different perspective.

Sometimes all is not lost when things don't work out. Life will find a way :)

It is indeed a pretty valuable life lesson this PR application process!

On another note it’s now been a week that everything is passed on my application and still no PPR
