What number should I put as Family Size in Financial Evaluation Form (Form 5768) asking about 3 consecutive years employment history. Should I include my parents in family size? Can you please provide some guideline for calculating the gross income/ benefits?
Q 14. Provide your employment history as well as periods of unemployment for the last 3 consecutive taxation years.
yes, include all persons being sponsored and their dependents
your income is listed on line 150 of your NOA - personally i listed it per year, even when i had two employers on the same year, following this example:

Sponsor is reprentative of parents.

Do both the parents need to sign Use of Representative from or just the Principal Applicant?

Kindly advise.

Hi Experts,

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice about how to calculate total number of persons on Financial evaluation form 5768e based on my situation:

I sponsor my parents(2)
I am also as a co-signer of my wife, support my in-laws (2) at this time application as well.
Another word, we have 4 applicants at the same time.
Our family size is me, my wife and two children (4)

My question is how to fill out my financial evaluation form for the number of total persons and how to fill out my wife's financial evaluation form (I am co-signer) for the number of total persons?

I really appreciate your advice!

Which one are you sending first? If you are sending your parent's sponsor application first, total family member 6 in your financial evaluation. In that case, in your wife's financial evaluation, it will be 8 including your parents.

Im posting this again as no response yesterday.

Did you sign each page of the document checklist or just the last page?

Did you sign the Income Sources document?

On completing his forms, my son has calculated that his total income is $2000 short for 2016 when he first landed in Canada as a PR (Canadian wife sponsored him). It took him 12 months to find employment in his specialised field. His income for 2017 and 2018 far exceeds the amount need to sponsor myself and wife.

Is there any point in continuing with our application?
Sorry to say that but you are not eligible, it happened to me previously I was short approx same amount and IRCC did not accept any pay stubs for the current year. IRCC will strictly consider 2016 2017 & 2018 (NOAs Only).

I have the same situation and I am not sure if I should continue with my application or wait until next year. It is tough!

If you do not meet the Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) requirements, do not apply someone else will loose his spot.
As I mentioned previously IRCC strictly go with this financial requirement only incomes that are stated in the notice of assessments for 2016, 2017 & 2018 will be considered.
