My husband's US visa application was just rejected. Our Canada PR application was sent in Feb and I have been approved as a sponsor and he has completed biometrics and medical.

He applied for the US visa in April i.e. after we submitted our PR app. So, in the PR app, we had put that he has never been denied a visa to any country, which was true then.

Do I need to inform IRCC of this development?
hiding stufs is never a good idea when they are processing background check. I would def tell them right away. .

I don't believe it's necessary to inform them of this.

based on what you said at the time of application submission this was not the case. And I believe that question was referring to any refusal of visas before your application was submitted.

Hi guys
I am the sponsor and i was not a representative on the file.
I linked the application to my account (Sponsor) succesfully.

Then when i tried communicating with IRCC thru webform one month ago, they advised i am not representative on file even when i am the sponsor, and if I would like to get more info, the proncipal applicant should appont me as a representative.

Which we did today, and we send the use of repre form theu IRCC online webform, being appointed for my wife as unpaid representative..

My question is, would that affect any processing? And for my previously linked application to my account, will it keep working or it will be removed automatically from mu account? Because afyer submitting the form i found on cic website that if u r unpaid rep u wont be able to link application. But sonce my application was linked already previously?
I am now worried and dont know if they will keep sending messages on our online linked account or they will cancel it and send by mail to sponsor?

Any help please, if someone was appointed as his spouse unpaid representative? He gets all communication online thru linked account or not? Thanks in advance a lot..
Hi, i did the same thing. Did you get any messages through gckey ever since you linked your file?

Yeah application was linked already to my account (Sponsor)
And i used to receive medical and bio requests online on my gckey account.
But yesterday i uploaded the form online as family representative.
So i dont know what gonna happen in this! Will the linked application be removed or what? I dont know if i have mistaken or what i did was right to be the family representative of the principal applicant...

I am the unpaid representative of my PA and I authorized it from the very beginning so I don't know if processing would increase. However, I do have an online GCKEY with my PA that I was able to link successfully without any problems. I highly doubt they would delete you're already made account.

I would say on average 2 months after VO starts processing application - given no excessive ADRs and/or interview is needed. But would largely depend on your VO. Where was your file transferred? Maybe you can join the VO thread.
It was transferred to Australia Sydney. Thanks for that info was exactly was i was looking for !

Sorry but what is CSQ?
It is for Quebec Sponsors, if they are wanting to move to quebec with PA. it is just a seperate little application to have approval from Quebec province to continue processing application

Oh okay thank you. I started getting nervous thinking maybe I left a part out or something.
haha yes if not applying for or from quebec then no need to worry about CSQ
