**INLAND SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP JANUARY 2019**

Hi all.
Am an inland applicant with my 10 months old baby.

Applied for spousal sponsorship with a dependent child and submitted my OWP too on 18th Jan 2019.
Received at mississauga office 22nd Jan 2019.

AOR received on my sponsorer’s email on 9th March 2019 & 8th March 2019 sponsorship application started processing.

OWP got approved 21st March 2019. As per IRCC they have sent some documents on mail.. which I haven’t received yet. Waiting..

Next My kidoo got medical exam request 27th March .2019, but not me. Don’t knw if it’s normal or not.

So waiting for my medical requirement letter.
Unfortunately have tried million times to link my application to gc key profile, always a failure.
Please reply if anyone got through linking their sponsorship application inland.

If you have linked the ecas it will be shown there. And, you will also get an email saying the status is changed. If you cannot link the account, i think u have to wait for the physical letter.

Your agency should got the update if you are using one.

Day 9? now? Can't link OWP. AOR received. No updates, No med request, nothing.
Seeing this thread makes me feel happy for others but depressed for myself.

Just a small correction: ecas doesn’t show the OWP, I think you meant linked to GCKey

Thanks, and I am not sure whether ECAS shows the OWP approval. I was able to link my OWP with my GCKEY account and I was constantly checking it after that as I noticed a trend that people usually get OWP approvals within a week after their AOR. No emails or anything. Just Application Update on My GCKEY account.
Hope you're able to find out soon! I can't imagine not checking my account every other minute for an update!

I managed to link both my app and OWP but still no approval either.. literally my status ends in 3 days... I really don't want to have to extend it and pay $100 for my owp to be approved the day after.

If you applied for PR + OWP with temporary status, the OWP application is your "extension request" until a decision is made on your OWP(which I haven't seen/heard get denied without crazy reason).

If it does get refused, you will then have the clock started for status restoration. Up to you.

You can always submit an extension and if you get your OWP you can withdraw your extension request.

How much time PR application takes to approve from inland? Any idea?

In system it shows 10 months from the date of application received. My application received date is 24th Jan, 2019

Currently i am in Here on Visitor visa on which i can stay for six months.. I got my OWP..

Does it gives permission to stay here ?

Finally I got my WP today, but I didn't receive AOR e I didn't do medical exam. Is It ok? I sent my application Jan 31 and They received Fev 03.

Does OWP gives permission to stay in canada till the time its validity or i need to extend my stay separately?

Oh that means you have estimated 10 more months. You submitted in January so 10 more months, 12 months in total since submitted.

Your OWP is your temporary resident document and is what you use for temporary status, because that's what it is.
