adding spouse after COPR

Hey Guys ...please help me out with suitable links and information regarding adding spouse after receiving copr . I received my passport after ppr stamping in december 2018 .But am planning to get married in Feb 2nd week . I would like to add my spouse to my application before i land rather than going for the tedious route of sponsorship. My last day to enter is March 31st 2019 , i hope they will ask me to do remedical or is there any possibility of medical expiry date extension ? Thanks in advance...

Yes, there is a possibility of extension, but it's not in your hands. You'll just have to begin with the process of adding your spouse and see what they say...

I have informed Cic about my marriage with a marriage photograph and marriage certificate .I got reply from CIC requesting me to submit my passport and copr for cancellation. They also requested following set of documents (of wife) for adding wife to my application :

IMM5669 ,IMM5562 TRAVEL INFO FORM,imm008 ,imm5406 ,wife photo , passport copy ,police clearance ,birth certificate ,visa fee payment receipt ,POF , HEIGHT &EYE COLOUR FORM

I have submitted these documents and waiting for Cic reply regarding further steps..

IMM5669 ,IMM5562 TRAVEL INFO FORM,imm008 ,imm5406 ,wife photo , passport copy ,police clearance ,birth certificate ,visa fee payment receipt ,POF , HEIGHT &EYE COLOUR FORM

I have submitted these documents and waiting for Cic reply regarding further steps..

Hello...they responded within 4-5 days after informing them about my marriage . I have submitted my passport for copr cancellation .
i havent got it back yet ,arnd 20 days now. my medical &copr expiry is on march 31st . they havent asked for medical neither for me or wife yet .
waiting for an update .

no updates after submitting all the docs mentioned above...passport still with ircc for copr cancellation .

Thank you so much for sharing your status with the community man! I got copr on 20th February, and I informed them about my marriage in advance on 13th February, which was on 22nd February, I got the reply after 37 days on 20th March. I have submitted my copr and passport for cancellation today.

My VO is also London, is it possible they are going to ask me for the same documents? And how long did they take for them to ask for the documents after they told you to return your copr and stamped passport?

my file is also with London VO .they requested documents & passport everything together in a single request letter .
i think they will request the same set of docs to you as well.

Thanks. Okay so I got the response 6 days ago that my case has been reopened and they will be asking for more information shortly. But they haven't asked me for anything yet. Any idea how long will they take? I checked my cic account, and they really have reopened my case but there isnt any request letter.
