Just received sponsor approval. 5 days after my husband got his eligilibility letter. Now we wait for Dm letter and landing invitation

Eligibility Passed on March 23.

Today, both the sponsor and the person being sponsored got emails.
Sponsor: "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence (APR) for your relative will be processed separately and he/she will be contacted shortly"
Person Being Sponsored: "It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class."

Hi! I’m in the same situation. I got the Elegibility Passed on March 8 and until today is still in process on ECAS.
I phoned the CIC and they said nothing wrong and they are still checking background so that’s why I don’t have decision made yet.
Sponsor side already has Decision Made.

Maybe your sponsor will get the SA in the next days.

I believe we have about 4 or 5 still waiting including yourself...

I see a change in the writing on GCKey where I check my father's file status.

Before it said:
We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

As of today it says:
We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along.

I wonder if it just gets updated if you've hit the 6 month mark of they're actually going to start work on the file ...

I had the same "before it said" status but then after the ghost update, it was changed to the new one. Maybe your father had a "ghost" update but you didn't realize it?? I guess you could mark March 21 as the "ghost" update date for now as you might be hearing something real soon...

On Gckey there is PA eligibility passed. No change on ecas. Still can’t access ecas with sponsor’s info.

Does it say "Your eligibility has been reviewed. Please see the final decision below"? If so, you should have received an AIP letter already so check your email again just in case if you missed it. DM letter should be on your way as well.

Landing letter depends on which office you are. Vancouver is the busiest one takes 2-4 months to land. Etobicoke is a month or so. Some are not busy so it takes a week or onwards.

It seems i will be among few unfortunates. Got SA on 15th March No progress on Principal Applicant side.
I had a govt job back home. may be take time in background check.
I have a question to you .
I have a representative. Is it ok If I am writing an email to directly to CIC overlooking representative?
