@Singh1313 Medicals aren’t taking that long for AIPP to be passed, keep an eye on your gckey.
In regards to processing time, a few of us from November/December are approved waiting for ppr or have received ppr. Current trend is around 3 to 4 months, as you are an outland applicant your case will be sent to Australia once initial stages are completed satisfactory. You need to try to find out how fast they are at processing cases. It’s a bit early yet but give it another few weeks after you get MP.

Set up a timeline in your signature, it’s great for people to be able to follow your progress.

Welcome to the thread, we try to help each other out as best we can. I haven’t personally received this request but I belive it’s a letter that shows on your gckey but you should get an email to say your gckey has an update. If you add @cic.gc.ca to your email contacts and make it a VIP it will pop up onto your screen every time you get a email.

AOR 15 Nov

MP 12 Dec
After that nothing showed up. I have a representative on my file and unable to link my file online. Don’t know in which stage it is. It’s just saying We are processing your background check.

You can send a CSE asking for an update, ask them to confirm the following. Are you inland or outland ?

- visa office ?
- elegibility ?
- criminality ?
- security ?

I am inland. Sydney Nova Scotia. It says they don’t need any additional documents. Can I send CSE before six months? And one of my friend got his PR and it’s still saying We are processing your background check. How can we check that our file is approved and we are under queue of getting confirmed. Thank you again for your kind information

Yes you can send a CSE, this is how I found out I was approved. Yes your gckey will not change until you attend either Halifax or Fredericton visa offices for your landing, at that point you will see your gckey will say approved and eligibility will change to passed.
