Honestly, they probably already have it and the reason you aren't in ecas is they haven't joined the cases yet because they haven't officially received your file.... So they
Probably don't link immediately by name but they do by UCI....I guess, who knows with them lol

Okay have a question

Firstly seems people that applied dec 31 are getting response and we our application was received Jan 2nd so should t be much longer

Question is we applied Jan 2nd his visitor visa expires Jan 28 which puts him in applied status I was going to extend visitor however I read aslong as you apply for extension wether it be visitor work or study before expiry date your okay I didn’t do visitor because we put application for owp with pr application am I right in this assumption that it is okay?

You do have implied status but if the OWP app is returned for any reason you'll be out of status. The safest/cautious option here is to extend.

I would have to agree with KC on this one. If I've learned anything these past couple of years is that it is better to be safe than sorry. I was basically told by a border guard that my application for visitor status extension would NOT be denied (Like I literally asked this guy if I forgot to dot an i or cross a t and he said, it will be approved over and over). The OWP however, imo, is such a grey area. They really aren't supposed to deny them but if there aren't enough proofs or something isn't signed (which is very, very easy to do) and it gets returned, then he will be out of status. The visitor extension is a pretty easy application and to be honest, for $100, at least you have the peace of mind knowing that he has status.....I figure $100 is nothing compared to all of the other costs we have incurred going through this process LOL!

Can I still apply for visitor extensions if he’s gone into implied status I guess if I explain what I did should be ok

Hi guys Im here again with a very delicate situation. Its my friend, I gave her this site to come on and ask questions about her issue but she's afraid.

She came here in 2016 as visitor to be her Canadian boyfriend of 5 years at the time. Apparently he was supposed to sponsor her but they had disputes throughout 2016 going into 2017. In 2017, hurricane irma destroyed her country and without any help from the boyfriend and no other choice, she applied for refugee. Between that time she was working and they were sorting things out. In September 2018 she received a letter that her hearing was in january. Her boyfriend felt so bad that he didnt help her at the time and decided to start putting things in place to start the spousal sponsorship process. They mailed it out in January and also she got rejected by IRB and had no grounds of credibility. The case was referred to federal court, she's going in for judicial review.
Now guys bare with me.
Can you tell me what can happen here and what she can do? Her lawyer told her to apply for H&C as well so she's getting that application together.

Not yet, im not sure any inland January have gotten AOR or can link yet. Krysse is January 2nd and no news as of yet, so I'm guessing by the end of the week there should be something, and next week is when I'll get AOR.

From what I've seen people outland have been recieving up to the 4th of January, but no one on Inland have posted about recieving AOR. Furthermore, after 5th of January it should jump to 7th since 6th of January was a sunday and post doesnt deliver on that day.
