Hi everyone,
I asked this question in another topic more than a week ago but I haven't gotten any answers, and because GCMS notes take a long time to be issued, I want to ask for your help so I can make sure I put the right request on the ATIP website.

Here is my question:
If I want to request my stored documents about my previous temporary residence application in IRCC's database, which option do I have to chose when I request my GCMS notes? Are these selections correct?
How long does it take usually for IRCC to send my case files through GCMS notes? Is it sent physically or through email?

Please select the Department where you would like to submit an Access to Information or Privacy request.: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
Are you requesting information on your own behalf?: Yes
Select the category that best describes you.: Member of the Public
How would you prefer to receive the requested records?: E-mail
What type of information are you requesting?: Privacy Act or Access to Information Act
Which type of records do you wish to request?: Immigration/Citizenship Records
What type of record would you like to request?: Temporary Residence
Which specific information are you looking for?: The application, supporting documents and correspondence sent to and/or from IRCC

*I am currently living in Canada on the work permit and I think I can request my information myself rather than requesting GCMS notes through a citizen or permanent resident. Am I right?
Sorry if the answer to my questions Are obvious, but I really need these documents and I don't want to lose one month and then find out I did the wrong request!
Thank you

Hey guys,

I need a small help with you regarding my GCMS.

AoR april 27th 2018
PPR on 11th feb 2019 (havent given my passports yet)

So I got married after my AoR and I paid RPRF for my spouse and added her documents in 1st week of August (had sent it all to my agent who would then upload it online)
My gcms that I got in nov has the following things:

On first page:
# of clients: 2
# of potential visas: 2
Under EE eligibility:
Assessment attributes:

Client has accompanying spouse: N

Under fees: it shows RPRF for me and my spouse.

All this time I was uploading my documents etc via my agent but I have come to not trusting them due to the conflicting information they provide.

So, my question is:
1: Is my wife included in my PR application AS accompanying? Because # of visas and RPRF shows for 2 people but under EE eligibility is shows N for accompanying. What makes it more confusing is, even if wife is not accompanying IRCC asks for wifes PCC, medicals etc.
2: I am guessing IF my wife is added to PR, she won't need work permit to work right? This is where the agent till yesterday kept telling me that she will need a work permit.

I know I sound paranoid and confused, but I seriously regret going via my agent who has on quite a few occasions given my conflicting information.
1. If the GCMS notes list her name, then she has been added. Also in your MyCIC you will have a UCI number for here.

2. Until your application is approved, and you land you do not become a Permanent resident. Until you land and are admitted as a PR, you will need a work permit to work legally in Canada. Just adding your spouse to your application, does not entitle here to work in Canada if she does not have a valid work permit.

Question is :-
what does this mean ? Is it other security than the one I got on notes ?

@legalfalcon and forum members your assistance would be appreciated. In my notes for Nov 2018 I had RR required for POF although had submitted CSE with additional documents on 26/10. Received new set of notes in Feb review is required of documents uploaded in October. Any idea how long this may take. Reach 6 months in 2 days. Do I raise another CSE with updated funds or will this just further delay my application? What does it also mean when notes say PReVU verified (applicant information) thank you

Hello Legal Falcon:

Thank you very much for posting info and helping with GCMS note.

I just got my note (9 months since e-AOR on May 6 2018) and the

app status: on hold
app status reason: Suspended - clearance.

Overall assessment looks like this:
Eligibility: Passed
Security: (Blank)
HIRV: (Blank)
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime: (blank)
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation: (Blank)
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs: (Blank)
Final: (Blank)

and the only note related to the hold reads like this:
.......Criminality * 2: No concerns Police certificate for PA and Spouse: NRT RMCP *2: n/a
File put on hold.

In the note, I noticed one page (in security section) is withheld pursuant to section 15(1) of the access to information act.

What does the " suspended-clearance" mean? and what could this hold and "NRT RMCP : n/a" be related ?

Thank you very much!

After you submit your documents, it takes time for them to be reviewed by an officer.

Ok thank you. Guess I am just impatient. 4 months seems like a long time to review. Have reached 6 months so will gove it a couple of weeks before i raise a CSE

When your security is undergoing, the application can be suspended during the duration of the security screening / investigation.

Here it is, kindly help.
The analyst or the assistant has marked RR for your work experience. Now an officer will review and make a final determination. Apart from that everything else looks good. Just wait for the Officers review./
