This is what irks the most of us out here, how random their process is. There are people waiting from Sep and Oct AoR, and people from Nov and Dec are getting PPRs.
This is what kills me :(

I am not mad about people getting PPR faster than me but I am mad about their bloody random their process. It's not at all fair that people waiting for more than 6 months don't get any update on their profile but people who have not even crossed 3 months are getting PPRs

This is genunely a real test of patience.

Every case is different. If a December applicant has a clean case, get security clearance in a week, should immigration make him wait because September applicants haven’t received their PR?

In fact, CEC people should be the ones complaining out here. Majority of them invested money and time in Canada, are paying taxes but CEC timelines have been slower than FSW outland. But guess what, I have rarely seen CEC applicants complaining on this platform.

Not that i am overly anxious but why should a cec applicant complain when they are already in canada tho? lol..

Because CEC people invested in this country, paying taxes, doing a skilled job and still on work permit without any benefits. Needless to say how easy it is for IRCC to verify the education and work experience credentials for inland applicants. Hope this helps

Fair enough..

It's Valentine today in Canada. Hopefully, CIC will show their loves with PPRs to some of us (or all that would be great lol) :p

Who defines which is a clean case and which one is not? :p

There are multiple factors that determine how complicated your case is. Your nationality, background, employment letters etc just to name a few. You ain’t going grocery store to buy a pack of coke man. I really hope the negativity on this forums stops. It’s kind of affecting 90% of others who are positively waiting for their PR.

I made a call to IRCC about my PR application status today.
Just want to share this with you all.

CEC - inland
e-AOR : 04 NOV 2018
med - passed : 05 DEC 2018
ghost update in mid DEC 2018
background check : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
( I guess I am in IP2 )

====From calling IRCC====
eligibility: recommended pass
medical: passed
criminality: passed
security: not started

Wondering how long security screening usually takes to complete.
Everyday, I am optimistically waiting for that golden email to hit my mailbox ; )
(Stay positive!)

I have the same status as you, with exactly the same AOR. I ordered my notes dated January 16th. So it has been a month since then. Do not know how long security takes usually. Should be in the next couple of months.

Cheers
