I think this is just your receipt of payment since it only seems to mention the amount and card details. Here's a post I could find where someone mentions what an AOR would look like: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/is-this-aor.83187/

But let me add another one where the guy also got a receipt like you it seems but it includes some other info: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/what-is-aor-exactly-looks-like.279629/
Hey,

Thank you for taking the time to reply!

Both of the above posts are bit old (2011 & 2015). However, I spoke to my consultant yesterday and got the answers.

AOR is only sent for Manuel application the Old Process and at Present for Spouse Visa’s. For online PR applications, they are not sending AOR anymore and the only confirmation is the payment confirmation until we get the medical confirmation email.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you!

Thanks a lot for your informative posts.
I have a question about my WES situation. My university only provides transcripts once, which I have already taken after my graduation in 2013.
My department head asked me to bring a copy of them which he will put and seal in an envolope with the universitiy stamp on it.
P.S: At the bottom of my transcripts there is a sentence that says: This document is given only once.
Bottom line, My transcipts are only copies( with the date of 2013) as it's not allowed to get another original copy from my university and I don't want to send the originals since there is a chance they will be lost and I can't get new ones.
Do you think WES will reject my application or will take the sentence written at the bottom of my transcripts into account?

Thanks a ton in advance.

Hi, the below should be informative and helpful.

firstly, u need to do an equivalency check of ur degree on the wes website, if ur degree is equivalent to Canadian standards, then you need to register urself with Wes Canada and get a wes reference no., u will need to fill and print out 'Academic records request form' from WES Canada website'.

Then go to ur university and enquire with them about the process for verfication of statement of marks and passing certificate or verification of degree certificate ( convocation certificate) for WES Canada.

Wes Canada will never accept original certificates or transcripts, nor does it expect or ask u to send originals.

When u go to ur university, ensure to carry the following -:

1)photocopies of ur transcripts, mark statements, passing certificates.
2) university forms and payment reciepts, Academic records request form (the one u printed from Wes canada website)
3) to be on the safer side, carry ur original certificates and transcripts along with u, just incase the officer wants to verify. Universities usually never take originals from u n even if they ask it from u inorder to cross check, they return it back immediately.

Once u do all of the above, the university executes their end of the process and sends their response directly to Wes Canada in a sealed envelope.

Hello there,

I would like to ask if you happen to have a template or an actual example of how the reference letter is supposed to look from my workplace. I am thinking to just copy all the job description under my Noc and have my employer sign it for me (if agreed)with a stamp and a signature but somehow this doesn't seem to be professional or fulfilling enough to me. Could you kindly provide me with an example or an outline?!
P.S: I am an English as a second language(elementary school) teacher and my profession is under the NOC 4032.
Thx a ton in advance!

Hi, compare your job description and everyday description with the duties mentioned under your NOC code. By no means or circumstances copy paste it.
If u find that ur everyday activity and job description is in par with the NOC then ask ur employer to issue you a letter that states your date of ur employment, last date of employment or if its still ongoing, mention full time or part time, your job title, salary and total no. Of working hours a week.
The letter needs to also state the duties that are carried out by you.

Ensure that the letter issued is on your company letter head and is officially signed and stamped.

You need to follow every guideline given on the below link and kindly do not fake or produce false information as it would lead to misrepresentation.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

I happened to see the following blog while I was looking for the above link, there's a format given in it too but pls go thru the above link really well..

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/format-for-reference-letter-express-entry.568833/

Greetings,

I have a question concerning the proof of funds for EE.
I will be the principal applicant. There is just me and my spouse, no kids.
Must I have the funds for both of us only in my bank account? or I can show the proof of some of the funds from my account and my spouse can show his funds from his account ( cuz if we want to transfer funds from his account to mine, I read we should do it 6 months earlier than the time we provide the proof)
P.S: We will not be getting any money from outside to back up our case, we have the needed amount except for it's divided on 3 accounts, one that belongs to me, while the other 2 belong to my spouse.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

Hi,

Yes, you can show these 3 accounts as proof of funds. The bank accounts can be in ur or ur spouses name (single operated accounts) or joint accounts ( held by you and ur spouse alone). Pls also be advised that other than you and your spouse, there can be NO other second or third person/party as joint account holders for any of these 3 bank accounts that holds your proof of funds.

For 2 people, the reqd funds are Cad15772/- .The average balance for the past six months of each account needs to be shown.

In your case, you will need to get 1 official letter from each bank (that totals to 3 letters).

The official bank letters must be printed on the financial institution’s letterhead and should include

*their contact information (address, telephone number and email address)
*include your name.
*list outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans.
* include, for each current bank and investment account,
A) account numbers the date each account was opened
B) the current balance of each account
C)the average balance for the past six months

The following link should be your guidline

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

Incase of any queries, feel free to ask. Cheers!!

Hi, if you have done all your homework, research and consulted people who has filed by themselves , has got a strong know how of things and a clear case, then you can apply all by yourself without having to churn any of your hard earned money .

All the best!! Cheers!!

I'm new here myself but I can tell you that you don't need to hire anyone (unless you have a complicated case though even then it isn't necessary), especially since you seem to have enough points to get the ITA. All the information you will need is available so you shouldn't have any problems. I was mostly able to get all my information from their actual website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/submit-profile.html

You could also look at the sticked thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/express-entry-in-a-nutshell.394158/ or the one here: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/express-entry-step-by-step-instructions.273928/

Hello! I am pretty confused because my agent claims that we need to upload the original document (scanned in colour) and its English translation. Still, the website of IRCC claims that we need certified photocopies (notarized) and original translations. Is there anyone who did the first way (only originals and original translations) and had no problems at all?
Hi, the first way is right however all translations needs to be notarized else it will csuse processing delay.

Hello Guys,

My name is Akshay and i have been in living in Dubai for the past five years and working as a Negotiation Specialist in a Destination Management Company. My wife and i have recently started planning to move to Canada. we are both French speakers as we are both from Mauritius. We have also completed our IELTS and TEF.
We consulted an agency here in Dubai and they told us that we are eligible for the PR but we are a bit hesitant to move forward with them as we are not sure how to start the whole process. Should i go DIY or with the agency?
i have read quite a bit online and on the forums but not sure if i can do the process on my own. the thing is i did a course of Surgical Technician back in Mauritius and i was supposed to go work in Switzerland but i could not move to Switzerland due to some political issues. My course lasted for two years, it was an internship and completion of the course(work+study) would have happened in Switzerland.
i am not quite sure if we will be selected as i used the CRS tool to calculate my points and we attained 415 points.
i have informed the agent of same and he said that we gonna get selected under the french stream. i forgot to mention that we don't have degrees but we have HSC + i got the formation certificate as surgical technician.
So my question is will i get selected under the french stream(Ontario) like the agent informed me or do they look for specific job description.

Thanks a lot for all your suggestions.
