Hey Good morning/afternoon/day everyone,

My friend just received the golden email this morning at around 4am. She is FSW-inland and her AOR is around Sept.1. She met with some problems about her application and I remember she re-applied and her 2nd AOR at around mid October.

I myself am a CEC-inland applicant, AOR Sept. 27th. Medical passed Oct. 27 and looks like IP2 at the end of November or early December. However there is no further movement till now. I plan to call CIC tomorrow morning and just ordered GCMS notes 2 days ago.

I just thought the processing of CEC inland may be quicker than FSW applicants as many previous cases stated, but I think I am wrong:(

Well anyway congratulations to all the golden email receivers including my friend. Gonna still wait and focus on my career development then.:)
OK I called CIC
Medical check: passed on Oct. 27
As referred to the kind agent, she told me eligibility and criminality check have both been met and complete.
However the security check hasn't been started yet TAT...but she said everything is within the 6 months processing time so everything looks good and have to wait by March 27.

Finger crossed.

Hi everyone, I am also a silent reader for the past 4 months and really appreciate all your sharing. For the first time, I have something to ask for help from anyone who had experience of submitting the passport. I am the main applicant with one dependent. I reside in the US while my 4- year old daughter reside in Vietnam.

My application was approved on Jan 23 (known by calling agent) and I got the first Ready for Visa email on Jan 31.

The Jan 21 email offered two options: (1) If having an address in Canada and US, submit to Ottawa (2) if not, email IRCC to ask for new submission guidelines. Since my daughter lives in VN. I emailed them to ask for her case. 10 days passed without any recommendation.

This morning, IRCC sent me a second Ready for Visa with two new options: (1) if live in Canada, submit to Ottawa (2) if live outside, submit Canada VAC nearest location. Since no guiding on submitting my daughter's passport separately, I decided to submit her with mine at the same time.

The problem is, should I send it to Ottawa or Canada VAC in NY or LA? Does anyone have experience with the passport returning services? With Ottawa, they asked for a prepaid letter. If anyone here did with the Ottawa option, what postal services did you use? From what I asked, USPS did not offer international prepaid envelope anymore while Fedex does have the prepaid label for Canada, but I am not sure if Ottawa agrees on FedEx? For domestic they only accept one specific courier. Anyone has any experience, please help.

Just saw that 2 days ago, the cic agent said your eligibility was under review, pls do you know the difference between 'eligibility under review' and 'eligibility in progress / eligibility processing'?
