Removing duplicate is bit hard for them bcoz many people make few mistake while filling form.

We dont know how they will find duplicate other than same sponsors and same sponsored!!

If anyone make typo hard to find duplicates
Duplicates are removed based on document id that we provide, nothing else.

And email address, and sponsor name, and sponsor dob, and parents's name and parents' dob.
No : given name , month and date of birth field may be empty if anyone select checkbox.
Email: may be not as it can be use for other application .
ID: you can use different ID and number for to submit form . Like passport, PR card, etc

Well, if someone checked the boxes and the parents have a name/surname, their final application to sponsor will be considered ineligible because IRCC said it, more than once that the Information given on the Interest Form 'has' to match the application.
When they send invites. They give you 60 days to submit the application form with the proof of Invite they send you plus the Confirmation number. And if the info dont match, file will be rejected.

No: make sure you have to submit same ID what you attached on submission time. rest all info will be corrected. information which you submitted like year of birth /family name / # of sponsor people must be match. rest will be update with explanation letter.
mandatory information must be match. but typo will corrected during submission.

mandatory information is like
Family name/ year of birth / # of sponsored people / ID # / attachment / address / email must be required. other information not required to submit form.

IRCC encourage not to submit duplicate and follow process for correction. there is a process design for correction / updated .

No, they will never encourage people to fill the forms incorrectly and let them correct it in application. Its a Waste of time for them. The only thing you can change after submission is your email address. And the things like Family size( if someone has a baby during the application process, or parents' got divorce etc. ) You cannot just go there and change/update the names of parents because you checked the box which says " no given names".
There will lots of these kind of people who might get an invite but when there info wont match on the application papers, they will get rejections.

I agree, but as i selected no given names and i put the given name in last name because my parents do not have their last name on their passports.
It was advised by iRCC on twitter to do so.
But still what i put in their last name is their real name (under given name) on passport.
Which will be accepted by a letter of explanation.
But if someone intentionally did it just to save time even thought they had DOBs and names etc., then I think they will not accept that excuse.

So let's say my wife and I meets the LICO for 5 heads and received ITA around March-April 2019. Processing times are about 20-24 months and while waiting, my wife got pregnant let's say in 2020. Would we have to update our application? Or would they just acknowledge our NOAs for year 2017,2018 and 2019? Thanks

What I have heard from IRCC and from some forum members, you have to meet the income according to the new family size from that year onwards until the processing.
And yea you have to update them any changes in family size.
So lets say you have a new born in 2020, if your application is still in process in 2021, they can ask you for 2020s NOA and that has to meet the income including the new born.
But as per previous 2-3 years, you might be able to get your parents’ PR by start to mid 2020 :)

Well just keep in mind if in case IRCC ask for latest Income proof then you will need to provide and you will need to update the family size. But you can add your wife as cosigner also if you think your income will not be sufficient for one extra member in LICO. Her Employment insurance is also counted as Income when she will have maternity leave.

In my case, what I did was also suggested by IRCC on twitter.
That if you do not have last name, put your last name in given name and check the box for given name.

For typo errors, If it would be a minor mistake they might consider it but if someone just checked all the boxes to not provide given name (even though they have one) and dobs to be faster than others, then I am pretty sure they will reject that.
We can not say I forgot to put my given name or I forgot DOB at the time of EOI and now I have it.
