Eligibility based on LICO requirements will only be determined after application submission & payment is done (because they never asked for any proof of income in the interest form) and this may take a while.

First, they need to eliminate duplicate forms and see if they have 20,000 out of 27,000. If yes, then there wont be any second round. If no, then there might be another round soon.

Later, If applications are rejected after submission based on LICO cutoff or anything else, then at some point later this year they can hold another round. So, sooner they erase the duplicates and send invites to apply, it ll be better for others who didnt make it.

Eliminating Duplicates is a waste of manpower and taxpayers' money. These kind of candidates who fill more than 1 entries must be disqualified period.

Completely agree with you but unfortunately some people do it and removing duplicates is always required. Instead of disqualification, only duplicates are removed and they keep last submission.

Removing duplicate is bit hard for them bcoz many people make few mistake while filling form.

We dont know how they will find duplicate other than same sponsors and same sponsored!!

I think the process of removing duplicates may be based on UCI because it is unique for every applicant. The hard part will be determining who meets all the criteria to sponsor such as LICO and residency in Canada. For the typo it will be hard and that is why they have accepted 27K submission for 20K Applicants.

I totally agree with your comment. Although it is delaying the process for the people who did not submit duplicate entries. But looks like CIC don't want to punish people for this behavior.

On first stage to remove duplicate there is no UCI. they can not remove duplicate entry on UCI # but only field you enter in form while submitting interest.

what i think duplicates will track by they have to catch same sponsor person submitting more than ones and check his/her sponsored person details. they have to get all details from Attachment file to match it for sponsor person is same and have more than one entry in database. other details might have typo error.

following key value to get duplicated...

1. Same ID # and attachment. ( Primary Key data / form asked to enter # twice for conformation)
   • if person use 2 different id to submit form.point 1 is useless)
2. Same sponsor and sponsored person.( if no mistake in filling form / typo error)
3. same E-Mail ( may be / form asked to enter twice to conform E-Mail)

So, if someone checked the boxes but they or their parents have given names/last names, how they are going to provide the Exact information on the Application Form as IRCC said. Hence, they will not be condidered eligible.

It is a paper application. So they can just fill it in.
