Oh no! Mine was received Dec 27, I was hoping the AOR would be coming soon but I guess I won't be seeing it for a while if earlier submissions have not received anything yet.

We linked it a couple days ago. Turns out it was received December 4th. So long ago I guess we made a mistake in thinking it was the 3rd haha. Still no AOR . Was really hoping to wake up to good news today.

I AM HAVING TROUBLING LINKING THE APPLICATION , MY SPOUSE IS FROM MEXICO AND ALSO THERE SOMTHING I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW TO DO IT.

Got my AOR on 5th, application received by CIC on Dec 7th. I think they are processing AORs for Dec 5 to 11 now.

So its taking around two months from submission to get an AOR at the moment *sigh*, I hope this won't affect OWP application processing times

They are for the most part unrelated. Spousal app and OWP are processed at entirely different offices. OWP is pretty consistent for processing at 3-5 months.

It can take up to three months for AOR. You're still well within that.

If your app is returned for any reason after your current WP expires you will be out of status. Many people extend their stay as a visitor just in case to ensure they maintain status, but you don't have to.
