This is coming from Mexico VO

Madam,

Please consider that your application is in queue for interview. An exact schedule is not yet available.

No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

So now we are very confused.
Could something possible come up during the background check? Since you received pre arrival services I doubt it’s a relationship interview, unless it’s a mistake altogether.

Well its weird :/

Do you know if people get interview after pre arrival?
Not the two people that had interviews yesterday. They did not receive pre arrival.
Talked to my MP. He cannot help.

Because I did receive pre arrival.
It is confusing I thought the pre arrival letter meant you passed the elegibility as a couple, therefore an interview wouldn't be necessary, hope you get everything sorted out. Maybe it was a mistake either from the lawyer or VO.

I’m hoping it’s a mistake. Fingers crossed

Thanks for your help.

Application: Family class - Spouse - Outland

I live in Canada and I am a canadian.

I am the sponsor of the applicant.

I am also the unpaid representative of the applicant.

We have one children - He is already registered as canadian citizen.

I have made different requests to link the application to an online account.

Each time it would say - No Document Match.

Sure the spellings are correct. Even the capitals.

In the number of people in the applicantion, I have tried : 1 (Applicant), 2 (App + Sponsor), 3 (App + Sponsor + Children)
As I understand it should be 2 (App + Sponsor) because our children is already canadian.

What could be wrong ? Is it because I am the unpaid representative ?

I beleive that I have been misleaded by some other posts. Reading the following extract, I understand that only the applicant can link their paper applicantion to an online account. But if they have a representative they cannot. As well, an unpaid representative cannot link the application.

Applicant has an unpaid rep ... No link possible ???

Extract from:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...sponsor-your-spouse-partner-child.html#expect

Step 8: After you submit your application
Communicating with IRCC

Do not attempt to link your application to your personal online account if you have appointed a representative. If you have appointed a representative and attempt to link your application to your own online account, you will have to cancel your representative before you can link.

If you have an authorized paid representative, they can link your application to their own online account instead.

Unpaid representatives cannot use online accounts. If you have an unpaid representative, you should remind them to regularly monitor their e-mail and mail to ensure correspondence is received.

There are special steps to take to link it successfully actually, do a search on here for Linking application cgkey
You will find the info. It is a common question on here.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I shall link our paper work to an online account.:)

I should come back with my experience so as to help anyone having the same beleiving. ???

??? If i have paid the fees online, have I done this through a GcKey???o_O

Updates....

Today, after so many attempts over the last days, I have been able to link our paper application to an online account.
As mentionned in some other posts, I have used Internet Explorer. I was previously trying with Firefox.
I have also used UCI and Family Name.
Instead of Place of Birth I have used Passport Information.
I have tried PoB with Town / State : No working
I have tried PoB with a space only : Not working

Therefore, when it is said in the Guide 5525 that an unpaid representative cannot link paper work to an application, it is misleading. As the sponsor, even if I am the unpaid rep, I can link to an online account.

Anyhow .....
The information contained in that acount is not such of a great help in knowing the state of the process. It is almost identical to the information one can get from the online service at 1-888-242-2100.
But online account is faster and can be reached from any internet access. I understood the IRCC help center is difficult to reach from abroad (Outside Canada). Also, I beleive it is providing a mean of easily uploading paperworks.
The online tool on the IRCC web site is also helpful in the way that it is providing dates of reception.

What could be wrong ?

My husband is an applicant from Honduras. We haven't been asked for an interview yet but out of curiosity, does anyone know if the interviews are conducted in Honduras or outside?

I have been trying to find out an answer to that question. Applicant is in Peru. VO is Mexico City. I call the help center, they cannot answer that question. I wrote to VO and they won't reply to my request.

Are app was received dec 21017 They have been processing it since may 2018. And in the interview queue since possibly sometime in July 2018. All at the Mexican office. Sorry but none of this makes sense.
Ok app received feb 2 2018. Mexico visa office. No word. Lawyer sent email Friday to ask what our status is..... they replied saying please consider your application is in queue for interview??? Ok that would make sense if I didn’t already know that people with apps after mine in the same VO had interviews today and got Visas. Would it not make sense that we would have had interview today as well? Our husbands are from same country. Dominican. Their wording....Please Consider??? Does that mean that it is not for sure?? Any insight would be helpful. I’m so upset and confused.thank you.
