WOW! thanks for the topic! It is really detail and it will probably help a lot of applicants to prepare for the interview. In my case, first time I had an interview with an immigration agent, It was 4am at Toronto Pearson airport, I was 17 and just left my hole family back in my country. The agent I got was kind of rude (or tired!) anyway, he end up making me cry cause I honestly couldnt think in english at that moment! So he told me "how do you expect to study in english when you can not even answer me!" I was sleepy, sad, and scare! Anyway, he let me pass cuz all my docs were ok, and I think he felt sorry for me. hahaha..so I think Ill just have to suggest to be always honest with the immigration officer, to read the questions but dont memorize answers (they dont want robots) they want you to talk with the heart!

Some of the questions are pretty intimate... did someone experience this?
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE, AND GOD BLESS!

To all who are waiting for interview, prepare these questions and many more you can think of and you will be fine. If your relationship is genuine, then most of them you guys would know anyways, but still its good to go through them while sitting together with your partner.

gud luck
cheers!!!!!

Hi members,
Thanks for sharing these possible questions for spousal interviews.
I have got an email from my Visa Officer and my interview has been fixed for next month (September 2013). This gives me just few weeks to prepare and these questions will be so helpful.

Anything else i can prepare prior the interview?? Any other advice or tips? I will be grateful for your advice.
All the best to you all.

Wow. And how hard are they with couples answering the same? I'm thinking.....I wonder how couples that has nothing to do with immigration would do in a test like this. There is many of these questions I know my husband and I would have a hard time answering.....I know my husband would say I don't know. Like, where I went to school in my home country. He wouldn't have a clue. We are around 50 years old.....and school isn't anything we have discussed that much.....it is such a long time since we went to school. Like in another lifetime lol And the same thing with dating....we are not so into the dating game. We are pretty boring when it comes to that. Like when we have a birthday.....we just like to stay home and maybe buy something yummy to eat and stay home watching tv and have a cozy night. We don't like celebrations anyone of us. So our answers would be: Nothing, we just had a tv night together. I'm afraid we would be so boring in our answers, that they wouldn't believe us. But my husband and I like a calm peaceful life. Well, we have our camping life....that's when we take our trailer and go out in nature and fish and just have a cozy time together. But other then that, we like our peaceful life at home together with each others....and not at all into all these celebrations and holidays. So thank you so very much for posting all these questions. Good to know what they might be

Good advice...but easier said than done!

My husband and I are a legit couple, have been together a long time, but I think anyone in the situation of an interview could be pretty nervous because there is basically the outcome of your LIFE hanging in the balance....!

DaleandMonica - I totally agree! I bet if they set up a game show where they asked couples these questions lots would get them wrong...lol.

Similar to the Citizenship Exams..I am a born and raised Canadian and I tried doing a sample Citizenship Exam and I failed it!! lol. Most Canadians would fail it, and most legit couples wouldn't get all the questions in these interviews right...lol
