I got my test invite I checked 4 times if I see right and yes I got it. February 12. They sent it today afternoon. So happy the long wait is over. I am in the Nov section but actually I am an October 12, 2017 applicant. Over 15 months waiting.
Congrats bro. Happy for you. I'm the only one left from our crew of complainers=(. lol.

I am just about to complete 13 month of application...today I called them and they says nothing is done in my file and it is still in Sydney office...Their response is very rude and same as 4 month before..
Any idea what they are doing and when to expect test???

sorry to hear that... my experience has been: if the agent is a male with french accent, usually it'd be pretty rude and cold.

I had sent citizenship application on sep 04, 2018. Got file in process on Dec 03,2018.
Can anyone tell me whether everyone has to do fingerprints before test invites.

Hi All,
I am trying to avoid entering this forum for couple of days and stop thinking about it but its hard.. I see people from Oct getting test invite.. I am so stressed and angry. I don't believe that processing takes months and months to finalize a file for sure there is no follow up being done for many us..Files are just sitting there at IRCC office and for sure there is a discrimination between applicants. What is the STRONG and HONEST reason that our files are not moving and some applicants passed 15 months without test invite at least they can call us for test then continue processing. Are we aliens is it that hard to access our data and find us a spot for test invite. There should be someone we can reach and talk about it,why we have limited information about our files, why cant we know whats really going on. Why we just have to be patient and wait and wait and wait, and telling us just wait and be patient till when..why applicants who applied after us are not waiting and got their citizenship fast...
Imagine that my criminality is still in progress since last year and I have been in Canada from 2013 never left..
1- Can I call RCMP and ask why my result are not send yet IRCC.
2- My application is still in Mississauga since August 2018 .. I know many Mississauga applicants who got test files were transferred to Scarborough.. Is it for all .. Is Mississauga office scheduling for tests or only Scarborough
3- I will complete my one year Feb 22,2018 can I send them web form now or I have to wait till then.

Thanks
You can send we form any time you want, but if it hasn’t been a year yet, there is nothing they will do for you - even if it has been 364 days and you are just one day from your anniversary.

Even after 1 year, the only thing they will do is send a note to your local office - whether your local office will take any action is NOT guaranteed, and the central office will NOT follow up with the local office if nothing happens after the note was sent

I'm in the same boat as you, I'll hit 16 months in two weeks without a test invite. I'm pretty sure many others are in the same boat.

Doesn't make a difference if you pass one year or not, you will receive the same response from them. I completed a year in October 2018, and since then neither the call center or the MP said anything different.

Same here. It seems they are so overwhelmed by the number of applications that they have found a new way to deal with it: not to bother to even care if people have been waiting for too long. At least this way they can focus on processing. The reality could be that it would take until Oct 2019 to get rid of all Oct 2017 applicants. Hmmm well it will be just in time for elections!
