I got my GCMS notes a couple days ago, and all was done except background verification, and of course prohibition in progress as a result, that's very sad to see, I'm now afraid that this will be a lengthy process like what I read some people here have it!
I have a question:
- What it means actually 'grant clearance pending'?
- Has anyone been in the same situation and the background got cleared later, meaning it didn't take a whole 2 years to do so?
Notes said file is still open, when I called IRCC said the application is normal and routine, I did already contact the MP and they will check it, my issue isn't really the delay, it's mainly because most jobs in my field require citizenship and I'm jobless now, and I did share with them this fact before with some documents of me being rejected simply based on not having citizenship, it seems it did make a difference.
Everything else in notes seems perfect, I found they even managed to get the flights that I took too and it matches what I reported.
