What cansha said is very accurate. My file was in fact moved from CIO to Ottawa for workload redistribution. I've seen the switch between "not started" and "passed" a few times in the activity section for criminality and eligibility.

I may have misunderstood the notes I have, but I'm happy as there are no negative things mentioned.

Last night I got a ghost update for starting my background check! :D

I think its partly on me. I sent wrong sized pictures, and I had to send correct ones back again. That delayed it by couple of days.

What's your timeline mate
 
So many ghost updates today for Aug applicants and this is the end of their 5th month mark for most of them. So we should expect a lot of movements in our files next month especially CEC inland.

Also a lot of July CEC Inland applicants have not received PPR but when they call, they tell them their applications were approved in Dec (5 month mark). Just sharing to give us some hope for Feb :)

Hello everyone,

I just called IRCC and agent told me that final decision has been taken on my application on 24th Jan and it was approved. However, I have not received any email notification or portal update. Agent said CIC Ottawa will reach me before my application's 6 months processing time. Does anyone know if it takes time for email or portal update after the application is approved?

I am also in the similar situation as yours, my spouse's medicals expire on 04th April 2019 and my medical status changed from 'You have passed the medicals' to "we are reviewing your medical results".

Have you got any change in your Medical status. ?

Have you had any change in your medical status before receiving the request.

mine changed from " You passed the medical exam" to "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam", have you also had this change before receiving the med request ?
 
I was able to talk to an agent this morning. she told me that eligibility is under review and everything else has not started yet! My AOR is 12 th sep and online portal shows IP1. I got to know that my visa office is Montreal. Anyone in this forum whose application is being processed in Montreal visa office? please share your timeline. Thanks.
 
Has anyone got this error while trying to call IRCC from Google hangout +1 613944000..
"You need additional credits to make this call from hangout dialler". But I have heard from many on this forum that it is absolutely free. How do I resolve it...
