congrats for all who received PPR emails !

I have received an email on 23 Jan 2019 from Cairo Visa Office requesting an updated POF , first page of passport (biodata page) and height and eye color to be sent by email to their end within 15 days.
Can anyone advise what does it mean ? how far I am from PPR ?

Am a PNP applicant with following timeline :
AOR: 22 Sep 2018
MED : 22 Oct 2018
Biometeric : 24 Oct 2018
ADR : consent from my spouse that I have legal access to her money : 4 Dec 2018
File transferred to Cairo Visa office : 13 Dec 2018 (as per a phone call to CIC)

Once you send them what they'd requested, they will send you the PPR E-Mail.

congrats! PPR is near it seems.

any reason you see why they asked for updated POF? was is because of exchange rate fluctuation?

Actually such request is new for me , I've read that some visa offices, specially London, usually request biodata page and height/eye color only before PPR is released. And definitely it's not related to the rate fluctuation , as I have submitted almost 3 times the requested funds.
I wonder if anyone was asked to provide an updated funds at this stage !

Interesting. I'm in the same situation as yours, will wait for GCMS notes to arrive ~mid February. Sucks.

What happened to me is something everyone should pay attention to it.

My status as my signature.

I have filled the web form in order to ask them why my application is approved a month ago and still no PPR

They have replied to me today that they already sent the PPR email on 14-Jan-19 and I need to check my junk email.

I got Yahoo mail from long long time. I was checking the junk on a daily basis but nothing. I kept searching for the mail then i have found it through my Yahoo mobile application only !!

Any PPR from CEC applicants?

I just spoke now with the agent and got the following update which is same as at the beginning of this month. Only change is that my file is now at CPC Ottawa not CIO Sydney anymore. AOR: September 1
  • Eligibility: Recommended Passed
  • Criminality: Passed
  • Security: Not Started
  • Medical: Passed
  • Info sharing: complete

Hi all, my AOR is 22nd Sept and medical cleared on 22nd oct. Till now, no update and no movement. called CIC and she said background check not started yet(same things ngs which are written on my online application). Anyone in the same boat??

Just called IRCC on +1 613 944 4000. Wait time of 20 minutes.

Visa Office : Ottawa

The wait is killing me. I am jobless. and sad. and lonely. and single. -_____-

Was it a direct call...were u charge ...and for those outside Canada ...they will really charge us so high

Hi atleast you should be happy that your application has seen good progress in 4 months in another month or so you will get PPR . Mine is 7 months and counting yet :/
