I’m trying to fill the forms to sponsor my child who is new born in India and have questions related to below points .

1) IMM 5406

Present Address

In this case my wife is PR lives in Canada but she gave birth in India and currently in India. Which address do I need to mention for her ? India or Canada ?

2) Sponsorship evaluation form

6) a) Your spouse or common-law partner

Not sure if I need to fill anything here for her?

She is a co-signer

3) IMM 5334 - checklist form

6) declaration from non accompanying parent ..

Do I need to select yes or no ? Here she is PR but currently with child in India and once child gets PR she will travel back..

She is also co-signer

1. Assuming that you are in Canada, you should be truthful and mention current address of your wife which is Indian address.
2. I have put 1.
3. I have selected Yes.

Thanks..

2. Since this is related to undertaking and she is already pr.. is there any reason we need to choose 1?
3. Because it talks only if other parent is not pr or not coming to Canada then choose yes .. here my spouse is already pr..
is there any other reason we need to choose yes ?

You don't need to fill the form for non accompanying parent. Write not applicable. Since your wife will be in Canada with the baby.
Thanks..

I want to understand U well. For child sponsorship the parent sponsoring the child must be present in Canada otherwise the application will be returned. Are you a PR? are you going to be in Canada for the duration of the sponsorship. If not your wife has to be in Canada. In that case she doesn't need a co signer.

And then you there will be need to fill the non accompanying parent declaration form

Yes I’m a PR holder and the sponsor and currently living in Canada.
Since my wife is already a PR , I’m putting her name as co-signer. Just for delivery she has gone to India.

Once my child gets PR she will come back to Canada with child.

Will there be any problem if I put her name as co-signer ?

Co signer will just make the work bulky. I didn't fill the co signer aspect when I sent my application. And you don't need the non accompanying parent declaration form also. As for ur wife's address you can put her Indian address in whatever place that requires are address

did any body got visa during PR process. I applied before it got rejected...
is there any extra document we provide to make visa officer happy(i.e believe) that our intentions are reasonable and can be granted a visa to child.
My wife Pr will be in jeopardy if she cant come by may.

PR application received on Jan 21 2019. waiting for AOR.

The way it's going now AOR for you will be in April. There is nothing you can do. They hardly grant TRV to sponsorship applicants because they feel you won't return to your country at the expiration of the visa. Best thing is if your wife can travel with the child stay a few months and go back and meet the baby. But why do you feel her PR status will be in jeopardy
