No, you have to wait for the MR. When they send you the medical request, it has an IMM number that the dr office will ask for upon booking the appt~ so the MR has to be registered in the e-medical system, for the dr can enter the results.

I just don't want to wait a few weeks after receiving the MR before I actually get the medical results submitted! Cause I just don't want to postpone my OWP.

We were very fortunate. I called Jan 17th just before the office closed, and my husband was given an appt for Jan 21st (tomorrow). Why don’t you call and see if they will let you book without the assigned MR number. In any event, I hope that your MR comes soon!
Can't! Tried to find it on Ecas and on gckey and nothing. No AOR as of yet so Im ringing them tomorrow again and this time see if I can get the application number.
Ive tried ecas on both sponsor and pa details and gckey on pa details but nothing at all

So I called CIC again (9 tries and waiting time of 38 minutes) as we still haven't received AOR. Basically they've told me the same thing however the processing centre said to the enquiry from last week that they are currently sending out AOR's for received Applications on November 27th. The lady on the phone admitted that this is wrong as they know that people from nov 29th have already received AOR's so another enquiry is being send off to the Application center to clarify this issue. Non the less I received a temporary Application Number so I will see if I can find something on Ecas and gckey now.

Just keep in mind chat even when you find or on ECAS, and you can't link it, It can still be returned... It happened to us in August! I found it ib July and was able to see it for weeks but never able to link it, then one day it was deleted...

Some say they received their medical requests without ever receiving AOR but how? Can't even link or add that i applied for PR as it was paperbased and ive never had a uci before.
They got the MR once they linked the app or by email .When there's an update they notify by email
