WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF REMARKING IN READING?
SHOUL I APPLY FOR IT?
Oh ! You've just missed... I wouldn't recommend EOR for Listening and Reading unfortunately. I'm sorry..

EOR success

I am writing here to give back to the forum as it really kept me positive. Success stories kept me motivated and finally I am writing my story.

GT - 3 attempts from IDP and was scoring 6.5 in writing. Filled EOR on 28 December and received the TRF today. NO EMAIL NO information from IDP.

TRF is the only way to know your result. and by the way the refund is still pending. :)

Advice : If you are confident about your writing go for the revaluation.

Thanks.
Can you please share the score change? It will help others.

Hi Mate,
After your EoR, what does it show on online portal? Can you check IDP portal for us once. It'd be great help.

Hi mohit,
Previously. Some people have mentioned that on ieltsessential.com their scores had updated. Would you dont mind if you could tell us about your updated score after checking out on that?
As it will be a help for rest of the candidates for confirming their score

I recommend you to opt for an EOR and also start preparing for your next exam, that won't waste your time even if your result isn't increased.

Hi neha,
If you are confident that you have given your best then don't waste your money on next attempt.

Hi guys, I recently took the IELTS exam through BC, my score is as follows S9 R9 L8 W6.5. The writing score really threw me off course and my crs score is much lower as a result, all I need is a .5 increase on my writing score. Would it be wise to go ahead and request a remark? any thoughts?

Hi,
Its wise to choose for eor. However, i personally believe wait of a month needs alot of patience, and one should be confident enough on his writing. Also, if you have followed proper structure in essay by parapharsing and giving your stance wisely, then you should go for it mate.

Great, I think a month of restlessness is a small price to pay for a significant bump in my CRS score. My score with these results is a paltry 378 but with just a .5 increase in my writing score, it increases dramatically to 410. In addition to all that, my work experience in my chosen field (NOC 2281) is somewhere around 2.5 years, I'm going to need to wait till it crosses 3 years for another bump up to 435. I'm playing the waiting game anyway, might as well go for an EOR while I'm at it.

Btw off topic but does the system automatically update crs scores once my work experience crosses 3 years? I should be hitting that mark in August, just wondering if I'm going to have to update it manually or not.

EOR success!

Just giving my two cents of advice. This was my 2nd attempt and first time with IDP(CB) 22nd Dec.
Results announced on 28th Dec.
Got LWRS 8.5,6.5,7,7.5.

I was confident about my writing rather than speaking. The results devastated me.
I've been following this thread since then trying to know the success rate.

Decided to apply for EOR as I wss confident. I had followed Jay's method which is considered good.

Applied for EOR on 5th Jan and spent sleepless nights till today. Finally got 7 in writing.

If you are confident of your performance then go ahead with EOR.

All the best to all of you!

Dear friends,

My latest IELTS GT scores are L-8, R-6.5, W-7.5 , S-7.

Would you suggest Reading Re-evaluation?

Is there anyone who knows someone whose reading score has changed?

there might be a good chance of increase in writing and speaking but in reading and listening , either the answer is right or wrong. however, if ur really confident then go for it . It is advisable not to go eor for reading and listening !!!!
