October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Of course I did, they tell me pending completion of background check. If I was an alien immigrating from Mars, my background check should have completed by now.

My background check has been done 4 months ago and after that nothing changed and I dont understand what does the NOT STARTED means . It means they are waiting for responce from other department or they didnt start at all.

Sorry to hear that about your mom. Based on what I have seen from some of these agents they really don't care about applicants problems and they don’t feel ashamed if your application’s gone over by many months, but I really hope your agent wakes up soon and starts working on your case right away.

Thanks, They have not even opened my file for my PR renewal application which I requested as an urgent. This is how much they care about someone's family emergency. I am thinking to even leave the country on my own country passport and then apply for travel documents from outside the country. They have no humanity left. Very disappointing.

I made a Private Act request for GCMS notes for my citizenship application on October 4th.
I have heard nothing from them since.
How do I query the status of this request?

Send a complaint in ATIP and it will go on the faster route, I have done that once. Here is the link

Ahhhhhh.
Our family's status on the IRCC Citizenship application status page finally just went to Decision Made this morning.
However, there is no new note in the list when I select the "Decision Made" link.
Is this normal? Can we expect a notation to be added soon indicated some specific communication has been sent, email or through the post?

Decision made 15 of December next day after test, oath letter 27 of December it was email not mail.

That is a good sign. I did receive my oath invite within 2 weeks from DM.

I got my oath done on 18th Dec and have got my citizenship certificate. Will apply for Passport in few days.

Yes, It's normal. You'll get an email or by post, letting you know the date, time, and location. Congrats!

What does that mean?
I am now very confused. Have they stopped working on my case?
