I guess this week is a big one for the mid-late December babies with just about good enough scores. I fall squarely in this camp with 444 till Dec 29th... I feel it's going to be a Wednesday draw, and hopefully not the last one of 2018.

Good luck to us all!

I guess people with CRS of mid 430s should lose hope now :(
I lost that hope start of 2018. Was at 437 since last November, then dropped further to 432 due to my birthday. Thankfully I had enrolled myself in a Distance Learning Msc course, got some exemptions due to my previous studies, finished it in 6 months rather than 12 by taking double modules from Jan to Jun. Received my result in October, sent for WES on the same day (had sent the request form to the University even before the results), got my WES evaluation 1 day before the draw in November and got the ITA at 471 score. Took me around 1 extra year but it passed.

I would like to suggest if you can go on for an online PGD or something that will take around one year or so, go for it. The time will pass and you will get there in the end In Sha Allah. The score does not seem to come down below 440 for the foreseeable future. If you are from Pakistan, maybe you can check out Virtual University. One of my friends inquired and their next session for PGD is starting from February I think. Obviously, this is in the case if you don't have points for Masters or two or more degrees. I don't know your specific situation.

Best Wishes and Good Luck!

Hey guys,
What is the CLB level one needs to achieve in each modules of TEF to get additional 30 crs points?
Also, is it foolish to devote 18 months of your life completely to learn french only given PR criteria may be affected/altered by Canadian politics in Mid 2020?

Application filled on 2 nd November 2018 waiting hopefully for ITA in the next draw in November 18.
No , I do not think so , i still believe that the next draw will be on Wed 12 Dec , and it will be the last for 2018 .
Why do you feel so? Past 3 years have always had 2 draws in December.

You need CLB7 in TEF which will get you 24 points + 30 bonus points ..... Its worth it if you can achieve as French will anyway help you in Canada....

I saw trend of last years, always first draw of December has high cutoff, i am worried that this draw get cutoff above 450, i was also going through some other thread, now idp and bc both are increasing 0.5 through revaluation process of many candidates, competition is going to be stiff in coming time.
